Vilomar was an excellent technician who lost because he wasn't the aggressor and lacked the power to hurt Arguello.. I never agreed with that notion. If your aggression isn't working then why should you get points for effort? Arguello was effective.

I’m not saying Arguello would beat Duran but this Arguello was completely shot as a fighter. What from this fight proves without a doubt that Duran would have won

The dude fought 6, 7 times a year training to go hard for 15 rounders not 12 lol since 1968 and this was 83. Nowadays these weaklings fight once and take a year off even if its a short fight while the rest of the time running their mouths on the internet, pathetic. Hell had AA done that, he d still be boxing today.
