Glad it's over. It brought back memories of mine. The double vision was no doubt your brain getting used to the change in your left eye, balancing it out again. But you're looking well; hope you enjoy your break away on Tuesday.
Well done Bob. I’ll never forget my dear old mum coming round to see me and remarking on my new curtains. I informed her that they were over 10 years old. She said she had never noticed they were patterned before! Just shows what a difference the surgery makes. The only thing she didn’t like was being able to see the dust and marks on her walls that she hadn’t been able to see before! Take care and let’s hope you manage to get out there on your travels ~ Lin xx

Glad it's behind you now, Bob. Your experience reminds me very much of the laser surgery I had on my eyes about 15 years back. Not much fun at the time but definitely one of the best decisions I made. All the best!

Brilliant! Well done you. I would have hated that I am so impressed with you. I have run away from hospital 3xs myself and like you often because they left me too long and panic set in! Once they have that on your records now they should get to you quickly in future like they did this time. Take care and I'm sure you will be away soon👍🙂

I have had so many problems with my eyes but fortunately living in London Moorfields took great care of me....it will take a while and the only advise i can give you is rest and take it easy for a while.. eventually your sight will improve a great deal...i avoided driving at night as i found headlights coming towards me were like lasers...best wishes for your recovery.

Thank You Bob, I'm having mine done hopefully this year I've been waiting since June but as everything else was put back due to covid, the info on freezing the eye is very helpful as I was worried about keeping my eye still for up to 15 mins now I know to ask for my eye to be froze hope the side effects go away soon,

Well done Bob. One down and one to go. Glad everything went well. It seems that different surgeons differ in their approach to the operation. I was lucky in that I did not have any injection, just the drops. After the operation, your vision is a bit strange and it takes the brain a short while to readjust but well worth the discomfort. Just remember no heavy lifting for a few weeks. Take care and enjoy your well-deserved break.
