Amazing I need a partial plate with only one tooth on it and I can’t afford to pay hundreds of dollars for it . I’ve been using thermal beads and that’s been working but I need something that I don’t have to worry about the way that it looks . Thank you for sharing this I appreciate it very much .
@UCARalgU8-x9eLcSTmF3J48A thermal beads are tiny little beads that you put into hot water and they turn clear then they can be formed into whatever shape that you want them to be . Look them up on here and you’ll see what they are .

Wow, this is awesome. I just had my upper partials made. It took a while for me to get them once I casted the mold at the Dentist office. They're almost perfect, except for a fraction rubbing my gum. They said that it's like breaking in a pair of New Shoes. Actually It's not as sore as it was at first. I think my gum is adapting slowly but surely. Gargling with half water and peroxide has also helped a little too minimize my irritated gum.
Try gargling in warm salt water....that helped me a lot!

Clamps will be better . I’m super nervous about those . How do you do yours for holding without the metal
@@ebonysibanda2023 The New one fits perfectly. Once in a while if I'm eating it'll slide out a little, so you'll have to be careful when you chew certain things. Take your time when eating/chewing until you're comfortable/confident
@@ebonysibanda2023 my first set of Upper and lower Denture partials had metal and my insurance paid for them. The new set that I got is plastic. I don't know what the material the teeth are made of, but they appear to be pretty strong. I had to pay for the new Upper Partials out of my own pocket and it took me awhile to come up with the money. I just made 2 down-payments so far on my lower partial dentures ($50 & $100). The total cost for me is $700 and I've already had the x-rays and made my impressions. I have to have half down before they send it in. I'm semi retired. I'm 62 and I can only work part-time because of all my disabilities from Auto Wrecks and Sports injuries when I was younger. I actually sell flowers (I'm a Freelance Florist). I only sell at certain times now. (When I know that I'm going to do really good for the time I'm out there) Luckily I have a couple of guys to help out with maintaining the freshness and care of the flowers because it's been challenging to say the least. Hopefully I can do good at the places I go to sell!🤞👏
It’s like wearing a thong in your mouth 🩴. You’ll MAY lisp and talk funny for a week but you’ll come good. If it’s rubbing, you MUST go back and ask them to adjust denture or you’ll end up with ulcers and being unable to wear them…(VERY important you dont take them out for 2days as The gums HAVE to adapt. If you take them out and don’t wear them because they hurt…. You won’t get them back in fitting properly and you’ve just wasted thousands.
If they hurt…. GET THEM ADJUSTED IMMEDIATELY ( also… brush them with toothpaste every night, and leave in a cup with denture tablet every couple of nights to let mouth have a breather. Don’t accidentally leave them in the napkin at MacDonalds and DONT drop them. Not even in the bathroom basin…. 😡
And as this was 2 years ago, I trust you’ve settled into your choppers by now?
Never know, someone may be interested in my drivel. And yeh. Warm salt water excellent for mouth often.

Кому как. У меня раньше был нейлоновый частичный, потом через 5 лет удалили одну зуб и сделали новый протез акриловый. Разницу я ещё не заметила.

Question. Should both up and down partials have the same textual feeling and made out of the same material? Not smooth and dry sensation.
They are both processed exactly the same with the same material
Can you please tell me if the wax base plates sold like the 1 u start with here , is the actual finished gum material in the final denture product? The reason I ask is because I always think it looks too soft as if regular wax in the beginning of process but in final product its so solid & sturdy looking with a completely different shade of pink even so I want to make sure I know exactly what I am buying when I go to buy the items I need. Thank u in advance!
We turn the wax into acrylic in a long process I recommend you watch other videos on my channel to understand how that worksa

I wish my dentist took the time to make these ugly clasps in the front of my bottom partial go away. Plus he made the base way too dark (never did give me the choice even though I showed him from an old partial). I’m tired of going back to that office because everytime I do, they screw something else up. Going to try to fix it on my own. Don’t know how to lighten the base color though, and it’s not even the same color on both sides (left and right) of the partial.

How do you get the wax to hardened like that
I know this is an extremely old comment but the wax is only to hold the prosthetic teeth for measurments after that it's all acrylic.
What is the brand of these denture teeth ?
How do you get the wax to harden like plastic after it’s made??
The wax is eliminated in the boil out leaving a void that we inject acrylic in, that’s the part that hardens and turn to plastic. I recommend you watch my other videos of how this process is done. Thanks for watching

Good oral health but that doesn’t guarantee a good retention as retention is affected by many other factors. Thanks for watching

You always need minor adjustments
How do you thicken a flipper that has become thin?
You can add cold cure acrylic after roughing the old acrylic or reprocessing it by add wax and eliminating wax. Both way are not recommended but they are temporary fix
So what exactly does someone need as in just the teeth and the pink gum stuff?

Yes. Your partial would have a horseshoe shape, which would leave the palate open/exposed.

How do you get that finish for the wax? So that it doesn’t break once inserted?
The wax is turned into acrylic by a technique called wax elimination. Check out my processing videos on my channel
What he doesn't show, is you have to use dental acrylic powder & polymer liquid. The red wax is just that WAX, That doesn't harden. It would melt the minute you would but in your mouth. They never want you to know everything, just a pathetic scrap.

Most of the products used in this video are sold to professionals only but I’m sure you can find a lower quality stuff somewhere online although I don’t recommend you attempt this yourself due to the dangers associated with handling and processing methyl methacrylate.

Sometimes based on the health of the natural dentition or based on the patient request they don’t like the hooks but we advise what works

@sscot720 This video is just for demonstration, not for sale. Your dentist won't give you your mold, no matter what! Once they take the mold they will send it to their lab (unless they have in-house) to have your partial made. I know how expensive they are, I paid $1200 for one with three teeth! The palate is metal and the teeth are on wires and I hate it! I went on Amazon and paid $100 for a kit and made one myself, it's somewhat similar to this video. It comes with the impression kit, pink wax, pink acrylic, different sets of teeth (individual teeth and on wires) that are a couple different shades for easy matching. The steps are very similar to what you just saw, it was actually really easy. Mine don't look as flawless as his, but when I put it in the teeth are the perfect shade match and you can't tell it's a partial. Since you are only needing one tooth, if I were you I would order the kit before you go and have the tooth pulled and that way as soon as it's healed you can make your partial and not have to go very long missing a tooth. DO NOT try to make the mold until you heal from the extraction because you run the risk of infection of you get that material into your open gum. Just go on Amazon and search at home denture kit. I promise you it's easy, I am not craft at all and I did it with zero problems! Good luck to you and I hope you have an easy extraction!
Also, if you decide to make your mold before your gums heal (I did it. Won't lie!) make SURE that you rinse your mouth until you get everything out

I recently had one made while I'm healing from a bone graft, it came in and didn't fit at all so I have to wait 3 to 4 weeks for a new one. I'm so self conscious about it😔

I have used a partial similar to this for over 10 years. It works great for me, the only problem is that I tend to loose/break them. I probably spend around $500 per year replacing them. Do you think it is realistic to learn how to make these for myself? I would like to be able to replace them without relying on a professional. Sometimes money is short and I have to go weeks without my 2 front teeth. ANY ADVICE IS APPRECIATED!
I guess if you keep learning on how to make them and have the material you’ll be able to make yours. I don’t recommend that though. Best of luck

@@dshry8923 Not any noticeable amount. But I do avoid wearing it as much is possible because of that reason. I basically only wear it in public. I take it out at night or when I’m just hanging out at home.
