I love this episode ! My ancestors are Moorish Hebrews (now called Portuguese Jews) from Lisboa. Such a rich history of Moorish, Roman architecture, language, education. Can't wait to go back to the "old country"as we say. 3rd generation American.
I'm just sitting listening to Rick on his "Why we travel podcast" talking about his view from his home, out over the Puget Sound. One of our best trips ever was biking the San Juan Islands. We rented lovely carbon bikes in Friday Harbour, biked around that island and on Orcas Isalnd, biked up to the top of Mt. Constitution. On the ferry ride up to Victoria, we had the most amazing show put on by the Orca killer whales as they jumped and spun to keep up with ferrry! Fabulous!

Rick looked great with a beard. As for meals, what if you don't eat shellfish, fish or meat? i.e. vegetarian.
