This rig is made for 4s and more gearing. That's the sweet spot. Lower your center diff fluid if you want less ballooning and wheelies! You can tune it to do whatever you want it to be. The tbone wheelie bar does protect it. Mine has saved me alot of heartache and helps while wheeling. Get the wheelie bar man it is essential. I have had mine for over a year and it is needed.
Turns out the issue was the heavy, soft, high-grip Duratrax Six Pack tires. Switched to Pro-Line Shockwaves, dropped in a 4S, and I have less ballooning and less wheelies. Diff tuning has nothing to do with the problem - you can't tune out both wheelies and ballooning simultaneously. If I put thinner oil in, as you suggested, it would lead to more ballooning as power flows the the front. If you put thicker oil in, you get more wheelies as you bleed less power to the front. You can't get rid of both using diff tuning.
Nice looking body man. Killer paint job. Duratrax are known for ballooning tires. Don't like them. Little tip; huge tires are detrimental to your drivetrains, Diffs and drive shafts especially with the MT410 skinny driveshafts. I love mine.. running it on 6s. You are totally right with the Duratrax tires I had on. They were super heavy. But I've since switched to Dboots Backflip LPs: amzn.to/3sa8U2d#ad Now the truck handles completely differently. Much better match for an agile truck like this, no need to tune the diff without heavy tires mounted.

Actually picked up a 4S pack last week, and I've given it a test drive with a smaller 15T pinion (down from 17T) and some new Pro-Line Shockwave tires. Turned it into a totally different truck. About 20% faster, while also way easier to control - barely wheelies, barely balloons, even on 4S. Flies higher too, thanks to losing 1.25 lbs with the new tires, although they do look puny in comparison to the Duratrax Six Packs, LOL. New running vid coming sometime soon. Still keeping the Six Packs around for winter driving on 2S. They'll be great snow tires.

Seems the Backflips are definitely a top choice for the MT410.
You may want to run thicker diff oil im your center diff
