This is an awesome body! It would be great to see versions of all the ‘60-‘66 Chevy trucks, and the ‘64-‘66 would be the same body, just with different badges. I’ve got a ‘61 and I would like to get this ‘66 body and paint it to match my truck to take to shows. It’s just a thought.

I Like it!!! I have a Pro-Line body for my slash and it's held up pretty good.. but if I had one of these C-10's I'd baby it, lol.
In the last the chasis is somethin that you need to have the best chasis the res proline look for you ALWAYS ... one body one car i have whit 2 chasis axial more than 14 cars only littel detalls and new car thanks proline

Really like the colors you guys chose can you tell me what the orange/red is ? and the white ? l but possibly more of a creamy white or an off-white not such a bright snowy white ? Thank you , Tim Doyle

Here is a response direct from our in-house painter,
"It was custom mixed to get the Red/Orange color. The White cab is just the standard white.
Just add a little bit of Orange at a time (shake to mix well) to the Red to get the shade you desire. Ours was probably 10-15% Orange. Place a drop of paint onto a paper towel to notice the color changes from the original as you mix.
For off-white, add a few drops of Yellow at a time to the white to tint it a warmer shade, or 1 drop of Black at a time to a bottle of White as this will tint the White to a very light Gray."
All made possible with our Pro-Line RC Body Paint:
6325-02 Red
6325-03 Orange
6325-00 White
(Optional for tinting white)
6325-04 Yellow
6325-01 Black

Glad to hear your enthusiasm for the Body! While the body does include a rear window mask, you will have to get custom for the small back window.
HEY PROLINE. Getting wife’s truck ready for axial fest 2018. Do I need any mounting hardware ? I’m converting a AX-10 to a scx 10 with the axial conversion kit. How does the bed mount ?

Nice body! Please bring out some other type of body's for the x-maxx. Everyone is Driving one off those these days. The all look the same! I ordered 2 Proline Raptor body's right away when the came out--> backorder! Why Am I Born in Europe, fuck! As Nice as the Raptor is, would be great to have even more types! Hello Tino, the body is mounted by fabricating a flat piece of plastic to the body mounts and then attaching with velcro.
I tried with magnets, but unfortunately I'm not so stable, thanks for the tip

Those bumpers are molded into the body, they are just painted chrome.

Can someone pleas tell me if this fits on a rc rustler or if not what are some cool classic car body's that fit it
Most of our Rock Crawling bodies, including the 1966 Chevy C-10 have a 12.3" wheelbase, so they are about an inch longer overall than your rustler. you could probably adapt them with trimming, but it may not give you optimal results. our 1972 Chevrolet C-10 has a 11.4" wheelbase which is just about perfect for the Rustler, however you may still have to get creative with your body mounts.

and how did you make this wood effect?
Start by crumpling up the protective film that comes on the body into a ball so that it has a bunch of texture. now spray your dark brown color very heavy so that it doesn't dry right away. now drag the ball of film down each panel on the bed. the paint will dray as you do this. then spray your lighter brown color to back it. you might want to experiment on some scrap poly carbonate first. Hello Jeff, The bed was custom painted. you might search some techniques on this for how to accomplish it.

We used a custom shelf with Velcro!

Very nice like the extra detail I just wish everyone would stop catering to ford and chevy and start making some older dodge bodys like the the Ram Charger that proline use to make and discontinued but yet they still make the blazer there's a huge following for 1st generation dodge and older pickups and yet know one makes them I don't get it lots of money being left on the table because I know they would sell
