I want to get my car wrapped but I live in Southern California. I don't have a garage I can put my car in so it always stays outside on the street. It gets very hot here, especially during summer.

This video is for the wrapping process, but once it’s on, it holds up pretty well in the cold and hot weather actually! Since it sounds like you park outside in the sun quite a bit though, UV rays can discolor the film overtime. If you do get a vinyl wrap, I would put either PPF or ceramic coating on top of it. This will help a lot with the sun (uv protection) and make it much easier to clean and keep clean (hydrophobic). Those protection options will help a lot with your wrap’s longevity if you’re concerned about weather conditions where you live!

Would you say wrapping in 45-55degree weather is still a decent condition?

It'll make it a bit harder to adhere and stretch, but it's still possible. I wouldn't recommend. You could try it out on a mirror first and see how it is for you before going for a big panel.

Hey there my man, i got a heatgun where i can manual chose the tempature, what is the best tempatur for heating up the vinyl wrap? 160 fahrenheit? best regards from germany

Low Setting: 100-200°F (38-93°C) for softening the vinyl and aiding in positioning.
Medium Setting: 200-350°F (93-177°C) for conforming the vinyl to complex curves and edges.
High Setting: 350-450°F (177-232°C) for shrinking and post-heating the vinyl to ensure proper adhesion.
Most importantly, keep the heat gun moving to avoid overheating or burning the film and generally keep it about 6 inches away from the film. Those settings above are loose guidelines that you can play with once you get more comfortable with the film and how it works for you.

@@tesbros thanks for the detailed anwser. Yea we worked with 90-120°C while wrapping. Matt Black Vinylwrap was easy, but the fake carbon wrap was a pain in the ass and ended very badly, we gonna replace everything with matt black and throw th carbon out.
Some wraps are easier to work with than others, right?
