  • I always seek out to try different types and brands of vinyl wrap. Anything from the more unknown Chinese brands of vinyl to the larger brand names we've come to know. Most brands of vinyl wrap tend to have distinguishable differences between each other. However, the main distinguishable difference between these to brands is mostly the price. One of these brands does appear to have a slightly improved glossy effect. This video will show you how each one looks and installs. It will also help you decide which one to use and which one to beware of.

I generally use Avery Dennison and 3m, but recently using Vvivid+. I have noticed differences in how they apply and stretch. Vvivid plus is actually pretty good once you figure out how to manipulate the material and love the variety in textures and colors. Recently wrapping my 07 Yukon Denali in Forged carbon ghost metallic. Beautiful results, but does take a little practice. Matte metallic is tough to work with as is. Would like to try Hexis next as I enjoy the challenge of trying something new.

I have recently purchased a 100ft role of glossy black from vividvynl. I saw an episode where you did comparison on all glossy blacks. The vivid had a protective covering along with 3m and maybe Avery. The vivid black was the only one you actually can heat and squeegee and when done remove the film and the wrap is the darkest black but also flawless because of the protective layer. Vivid is the only black glossy wrap that you can do that with is that correct?

    *Couple of things!*
    1. THANK YOU! This channel not only taught me how to wrap my car which I successfully accomplished for the first time in 2019, BUT he also guides people like myself who aren't in the industry away from bad products/brands. If it wasn't for channels like this, we would have NO IDEA!!! It's so easy for companies to fake pedigree & clout on the surface.
    2. I was practically crying when that mirror cap came right off! Our boy is exposing ALL the cheap crappy companies out there! 🤣🤣
    3. I haven't been up on wrap info since 2019, but am ready to rewrap my car. Ive seen the Inoztek name pop up a lot lately. Seems like there is a lot of artificial hype/clout behind the brand, but no one really had much good to say about it. Seems to me it is basically the same stuff from China & they just slapped their name on it. Can't find ANYTHING that even implies a MFG process, suppliers, OR specifics. The fact they make you jump through hoops to even be an installer & then block anyone who has questions says everything.

I have wrapped with 3m, avery, hexis and oracal. Yesterday we had a job laying inozetec on a damaged car that had been repaired. What a shock compared to the other brands, there was almost no tack in the glue, the color was way off. I could see that they had used primer on edges and corners to get the vinyl to stick and not come off. When removing the old vinyl on the piece we were to lay the new, it came off like it did not stick at all. I would not recomend anyone to use this shit. Go for quality.

If you think about it, firearms are the same way. The forgings for each AR receiver are made In only a few factories, after that they are shipped to respective brands were the final milling and quality control is checked. Only a handful of companies make their things from scratch. It’s most likely the same concept for vinyl wrap, where a lot of vinyl is made at certain factories and then sent to each brand where they do their own inspection and QC and maybe add their own touch to it.

That money is in the pockets of American middlemen who bilks their own American customers, all the while scapegoating China in the process because, well, they can because the Chinese can't speak english for shlt to defend themselves. Add in that born-again anti "Communism", the entire American foreign "policy" becomes one self-deluding cluster phuck, just like the one for Afghanistan

Man I bought a wrap for 333 and the quality is amazing. Got it off alibaba and saved myself 700 dollars off a wrap here in the states.

This video reminded me of that scene from Pee Wee's Big Adventure, where he calls a town meeting in his basement about his bike being stolen. It just reminded me of that. 😂

The Inozetek is NOT EVEN close in comparison of quality to the KK vinyl. Could tell right away on camera so I can’t imagine the difference in person

Seems pretty obvious to me. Inozetek is just a rebranded product behind clever marketing and selling strategies to extort money by selling 60' rolls and no partial rolls.

A lot of products that are made in chinese factories will sell b grade (defective) products under a different business name to get rid of faulty inventory at a reduced cost. Im willing to bet that KK vinyl is exactly the same as Inozetek, but selling their slightly defective vinyl at a lower cost. China does not have trademark or copyright enforcement. Nothing stays proprietary there.

Yeah I think inozetec kind of sucks. My boss thinks it's the best but I think there color selection kind of sucks. Plus if you have to go thru all there bullshit just to order it then I don't want to be apart of your dumbass club anyways lol. It's nice for door handles and mirrors but that's about it.

Hey Christian.. Have you ever heard of Tinybot Vinyl? it looks almost identical to Inozetek? Nobody in Los Angeles installs VVIVID so I'm looking for the best with the lowest amount of orange peal

Is there any point in buying Ino nowadays? With colored PPF starting to flood the market. I don't see any point in choosing slightly cheaper Ino instead of colored PPF.

Anyone know where to buy the copy inoztek?

  • @martymac5372

All I want to know is where to find a supplier that will sell just enough to do my bike. And the less expensive is just as good as the name brand is no surprise, it seems like more and more name brands don't have the better quality anymore....and getting to be more that they are lesser quality. But mainly still looking to buy a small quantity to do my bike.

Its common for companies to buy cheap materials and rebrand them as their own and mark the price up for profit. Marking it up by more then double or triple the price of a normal roll of vinyl? Makes it hard to wonder why anyone would buy it. Especially when they make you have a dealer only account and then don't even give you a discount.

What did I miss? In the info area if this video you have a link or email to get vvivid vinyl but you are suggesting kk vinyl? I’m signing up for your website to learn how to do this.
Also, your lifestyles link isn’t working

I just bought a roll of Vvivid Miami Blue. I was going to wrap my drum kit, but I'm not experienced with Vvivid, and so I'm a bit confused about how barely tacky the adhesive side is...... What am I missing? Don't hate, I'm just a nube. Thanks for any advice or help!

We wrapped our Krystal Koaches in Vegas, which has severe winter and summer temps. I never saw a wrap go bad in cold Vegas but fading over two years in summer is minda normal so the wraps needed to be cleaned, waxed.
