I bought the exact same model about a year ago as a mod platform, and love it. It was great out of the box, just as Phil describes, but it's pretty special now,. I put in copper shielding, a Tone Shapers 4-way switching/pots/caps package, Tonerider Hot Classics pickups, six adjustable saddles, Grover locking tuners and made my own personalized headstock logo. I also added a mini-toggle switch that lets me take the neck PU out of the tone control circuit (so the neck PU stays fully bright when I roll back the tone on the bridge PU). The neck PU cavity is also routed to accommodate a P-90 or Humbucker, a surprise bonus which expands mod possibilities. I only needed to deepen the rout in the lower part of the control cavity about 5/16" to accommodate the depth of the 4-way switch, and widen the 2 holes on the control plate slightly to fit the wider CTS pot shafts. It was $298 when I bought it last year, and with the mods, I have a little over $500 in it. It plays, feels and looks as good as guitars I have costing 3-4 times more.
When I see professionals like yourself picking these guitars apart with your fine ear for detail... it makes me appreciate my EART guitar even more. Thanks.
I recently bought a Fender Tele Performer and Tele American Pro II. They both play great and I do not regret the purchase. I've been playing for 40 yrs, have a good career and can afford it. These days I look at it as buying a Gucci hand bag, you are paying mostly for the name on the headstock. In that name comes much higher worker healthcare, taxes, etc. That being said I love budget guitars and if I was younger with little income, I would absolutely go for the more affordable options. I see no reason to buy a "real deal" guitar when the off brand guitars offer so much these days. Love your channel!
04/09/2023: Great review! I have the telecaster style EART T-380 Guitar solid white body with HH splitable pickups, and a 2-point tremolo (Wow, how cool is that on a Telecaster?). I also bought from Amazon ($400.00 free shipping), and it came to me in flawless condition with a spot on setup. I really love this guitar. The only thing I thought would have been better would have been to roll the edges of the neck (I can fix that myself now). By the way, I love the stainless steel frets, but I would not call them "medium jumbo" frets on my guitar. I would call them "small, narrow, and low" frets. But, they are still great!
Nothing wrong with that guitar. Lovely! So great that you are always willing to try out and review the "low end" guitars that are budget friendly for those of us with a limited discretionary income. Thanks Phil!
Nothing wrong, except maybe that workers at those force labor factories in china try to community suicide so often that they put suicide nets so they can't jump off the building.
I think you should make a video upgrading some of the parts of this amazing guitar to make it even better. I'm planning on getting one, but I'd definitely upgrade tuners, and pickups first.
I purchased the same one, color and all about 8 months ago. Quality was the same, cost at that time was a little less but the nice thing was, I used my Amazon points and got it for $170. It was nice to see you did a review thanks!

Update: After playing guitar for a couple of days, I've concluded this is a pretty nice guitar. I had a Fender custom Tele about 20 years ago I paid $2200 from Sam Ash in New Haven Ct, sweetest sounding guitar I ever owned for clean tones. Always in tune, perfectly intonated, made you sound like a guitar player. The EART is not quite that, but, it's pretty damn close. Came with low set up and a little string buzz. Ever so slightly put a little bow back into the neck, super easy with the wheel adjustment and comes with a little bar tool used for the wheel specifically. Knocked the buzz out immediately. Fingerboard and frets as advertised. Guitar intonated nicely with some minor bridge adjustment. Tuners are smooth and the guitar holds tune very nicely, and, you can capo the thing anywhere and it's in tune. Very light and comfortable. Neck pickup is nice and warm. I sold that Tele, regrettably, as I was more into Strats and LPs at the time, but very pleased to replace it 20 some odd years later at less than 1/5 my cost back then.
I am planning on making a tele body this summer and purchasing a neck. After this review, I ordered the EART tele to harvest the neck. But it played and sounded better than my Fender tele, so I'm just going to keep it as a complete guitar. Also, I purchased two EART strat models, ... very impressed. Thanks for your video.
I've got the eart tele..... I swapped out the saddles for brass compensated variants....its one of my better playing guitars ..SS frets and slightly roasted maple neck.. No complaints with this keeper
Amazing find! Kinda wish I had the type of gear available now when I first started out. Just show how the gap has closed on the quality of guitars for those just starting out or even upgrading from a entry level guitar.
I bought a EART guitar on Amazon and the frets were staggered. One or two frets would be 1/16th on an inch from the low E and then one or two frets would be around 1/16th or more from the high E. So I sent it back and got another one. When the 2nd guitar arrived, I was not able to set the intonation. So I sent it back. Third time was the charm, now I have a really good roasted neck and body with stainless steel frets, it's great. But from the time I ordered the guitar until the time I actually had a playable guitar, was about one and a half months. Return shipping was free because I'm a Amazon Prime member. If you order directly or from another suppler, you might be stuck with the return shipping.
I got the Eart headless with trem. Trem is sucky, locked it down, Put DiMarzio Evolutions in - I play it all the time. I would not use for gigs, stays in tune but fine tuning is finicky and the string change process is not gig-friendly, but I would not sell this guitar. I absolutely love it. For what it is. ~j in Utah
Wow man! Those clean notes at 5:35 sound AMAZING! this is through an old junky cheap smartphone that music doesn't even sound that good on! And I have hearing damage and tinnitus! Even I could HEAR how smooth the frets are!
Thank You for the video. I have been watching you of late and finally subscribed. Why? I think your a real no BS kind of guy and therefore find your content viable. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for this long awaited video from a true Eart Guitar fan. You Rock Phil. \m/ This was my first online guitar purchase ever! From Amazon at $279. As a beginner I was in shock,...It played it so smoothly. Your honest evaluations help many in searching for new musical ideas and products. Thanks Phil.
I have spent a **** load of $ over the on Fender, PRS, and other big name guitar. Ironically, my favourite two guitars are a $600. Godin Session and a 1980's Vantage VS696 neck thru. Incredible. Live and learn eh?
Hi, When I started playing in the early sixties the only cheap guitars were from Sears, Montgomery Ward, Harmony and Kent. The latter was the worst of the bad. All pretty much unplayable junk. Fortunately, my dad recognized my talent and bought me a Fender Jaguar. A "real" guitar. I have been on a mission recently to check out the state of the art in inexpensive to cheap guitars. I bought a Kramer VT211S from Sweetwater, a Firefly ES338 in spalted maple and a EART Tele copy after listening to your review the other night. It arrived today. The Kramer and Firefly are excellent guitars, but the EART blew me away. I agree it's the best fretwork I've ever seen in my 60 years of playing. The guitar is absolutely excellent. As a comparison I bought a Martin SC13e a year ago MSRP $1,600 ! The quality of the Martin cannot compare to the Kramer, Firefly and the EART. Thanks a million!!! Shalom/gw
Hey, Phil! I’ve got 4 Eart guitars, and I love them all, but when it comes to the T-style, I think you’ll want to check out the Eart ETT thinline T-style! This guitar, in my opinion, is bordering on Suhr quality construction! The pickups, of course, aren’t, but pickups can be swapped! I personally like the pickups. They’re fine for me. I’m not a pro. You should check out the Eart ETT thinline! Thanks for all you do! Ronnie M.
I have two Eart teles - this model and the semi-hollow one. I love both. They don't have the top end of a Fender tele but I think that is at least in part from the fact that they have mahogany bodies. The build quality is good and they make great mod platforms.
I got one of these off Amazon and threw on some locking tuners, brass saddles and Seymour Duncan vintage stack pickups. There was an issue with frets that weren’t all the way seated so the high e string was getting caught on the fret now and then so I messaged them on Amazon and they sent me a replacement neck which I admittedly have little interest in installing. I just hammer down the fret ends a bit with a brass punch and it’s been pretty good since.
It's so surfy! Super dark for sure... I assume Phil confirmed 250k pots (I mean, it's Phil, he surely opened this thing up asap). I would've liked to see the electronics. Sounds pretty damned good as it, but if one wanted to get more twang, or chime, it's just a pickup swap away. Super impressed by this. I feel like it's a really clear picture of what you get when you remove the cost of the brand name and the marketing/middlemen from the consumer. Hell yeah!
great vid... i dont care what the headstock says... if it feels good and plays good.... it is good.. with a pickup swap, this guitar will hang with a similar $4k model...
I got a $279 Ibanez Gio without knowing anything about it recently. It feels, plays, and sounds like an $800 guitar, and I picked it up for under $300. You can find some very decent guitars for a great price these days.
I have to say it really does look good for that price range. The neck carve and fretwork is the most important thing to me when buying a guitar. Looks like quality throughout. The neck pickup did sound dark and a bit muddy, but changing that out is an easy & affordable fix. Great review.
I don't know if my message was the one that prompted you, but I'm thanking you anyway. I knew you'd do an outstanding review, hitting all the points I needed to know, and you did. Thank you! I just ordered one, not the tele, but their s-type because that's the one style I don't own unless you count my G&L S-500, which I love, but it's not quite the same. Also, EART says you can swap in a Fender pickguard 'at will', so if I don't like the pickups, I have easy recourse. And, of course, thanks to you, I'm not shy about swapping out tuners if needed. Again, great job as always!
Picked up one of these a year ago, the neck is amazing and it one of the most comfortably playing guitar. Only my PRS is better... pickups need to be swapped but that's about it!
Could you test the B10 Precision bass model Eart has recently released ? They cost between 469€ and 549€ on Amazon (depending on the finish). Their Jazzbass model cost even more at 729€. Wondering why such a heavy price tag…
Is your favorite guitar player Peter Green because you have that feel to when I heard you playing notes. Thank you for a nice video. Very informative. Be safe stay well.
Playing through my HX Stomp, the nek pickup sounds dark, too dark in when I play it on any of my Strat presets. However, on my Traynor amp, the neck pickup is more than enough clean and twangy. I'm not going to change that pickup.
Good news is we can also get these here in Wales. I'm tempted due to just how good the neck appears to be. Nice to know how it is routed under the pick guard as I do like to put humbuckers in the neck position on a Tele.
There's a guitar teacher and top player, Dave Price, who plays in a band called Mixed Feelings. We've seen them a few times and he has to cross many different genres / styles. His sound has always been outstanding and on one occasion he used a £200 Yamaha Pacifica, you wouldn't have known the difference between that guitar and a £6K Fender CS model. Just shows it's more about technique and great value instruments!
I have the Strat version of their guitar the frets feel so much better than my fender Am-Pro II. I switched out the pickups and installed hipshot locking tuners.
Cheap guitars no longer (necessarily) mean low quality guitars. I think it’s great that people without thousands of dollars to spend can get their hands on some really quality affordable instruments. That wasn’t always the case
That's just incredible. I own a Chinese mad Epiphone and the guitar's fantastic. And it cost me like 400 EUR. Back in the day, cheap guitars just meant total trash. Now you get nice instruments. Just makes you wonder, how much you really should be paying for guitars, how much is really worth it.
@@47279J ♥️my $136 Harley Benton SC450P90GT gold top , added gotoh delta 1:21 tuners and now its my #1 my gbbies n fenders lonely on the stands right now 😅
I disagree i think the cheaper guitars of old were better. The wood nowadays is way worse (even on high end guitars) but the fit and finish is way BETTER. Problem is you can't fix bad wood but you could fix the other things
I bought the exact same model for a beater to keep at work. Nice fretwork but the neck is not roasted. I drilled a hole in the heal and it's just a tinted neck.
I like their T style features on the body and the neck. I can't build one with those features at that price. I will probably be ordering one soon. Thanks for the video Phillip.
I’ve got 5 EART guitars, and they’re all really great guitars with quality features far beyond the sticker price. They’re not perfect, the tuners on all of them are middle of the road (they don’t feel cheap, but the gearing is not great, can get annoying doing the flat/sharp dance over a gear click turn - ended up swapping locking tuners in on the worst offenders), the trem blocks are pot metal, there’s no shielding paint, and one of them had a couple dead spots I had to fix, 2 others had those same beautiful fret ends, but would grab the high E if I bent too far up, which is really frustrating but honestly a super rare occurrence unless I’m playing one particular AC/DC lick. My point is, you’re still getting a budget guitar, and a really great one at that, but the signs of cost cutting are still there (and honestly, easily fixable/upgradable). They’re good guitars, I play them all regularly, they sound good, none have had any technical or build/QA issues aside from those 2 grabby fret ends I’ve been too lazy to fix. If you’re on the fence, they’re worth it.
Thanks Phillip, love all your videos, I just replaced the nut on my tele, set by using the 3rd fret method you like, and am very pleased.. Thanks again.
The tone difference between bright bridge and dull neck and the need to adjust the tone control a fair bit when switching between the two was exactly what I found with my Harley Benton TE70; so much so in fact that I genuinely wondered if they might even be the same pickups, it sounded the same. They work OK though the neck _is_ too dull, but they certainly don't balance well as a pair. I changed the pickups on mine (for an Iron Gear Steel Foundry pair) which solved the issue and upgraded. I hear what you are saying about the neck but this does need new pickups. Also, it is worth checking what pots and tone cap are in it as mine had the wrong value which I changed plus changed the cap for an orange drop. I understand that this is a different make/model but it really does sound so similar to my HB before I upgraded it.
WoW! 😁Surprising review. I had an off-brand T-type with neck humbuckers that sounded a little muddy🤠 after doing some mods to it... Replaced it with a good soapbar P-90. Now it really rocks!😎😎😎
I like the neck sound!! I don’t want the excess treble on the neck, that I get off the middle and bridge! I’ll be looking for this one! Thanks great video!!!
I bought the EART335 based solely on Darrell braun’s review and it is an excellent guitar and the frets are just as good as the one you showed on there. I mainly bought the guitar because of the Stainless Steel frets and the polish work on the frets. The 335 version of that brand is an excellent guitar and it was about the same price. I bought the music nomad KISS set up tool kits so I could practice setting up this cheaper guitar and when I took the measurements every single measurement be on the guitar was perfect. The neck relief was right on, the nut was cut perfect, the pick ups were perfect height and action was perfect. I spent all that money on the set up kit and didn’t have to do anything to eart Guitar so I used it on my Epiphone les Paul custom instead and had to file the nut and the bridge saddles to get the right height whereas the EART was perfect on both ends and I definitely was not expecting that on a 300 and something dollar guitar. I bought that guitar on Amazon as well.
Cool guitar Phil, thanks for checking it out, never would have known about it. I just picked up a Catalyst 60w based on other reviews, can't wait to hear your thought. So far love it!
I've got one of their headless models and I am amazed with this guitar. For $300 it seriously plays feels and sounds as good as any of my much more expensive guitars. Highly recommend 👌
Phillip, thanks for not starting every video with you shredding incredibly and blasting our ears out showing off. So many other videos out there that are 'reviews' but I'd say just a chance for the reviewer to show off his/her shredding ability.
A friend of mine bought an Eart as his first guitar. They are hands-down the best value going. The fret work is better than my Fender Pro strat. His had some crackling in one pot, but I sprayed it with some Deox and it worked perfectly. Also the nut was crooked, and it wouldn't stay in tune for very long, so he brought it to a shop and the guy put a nicer one on which worked great, but he could have also just tapped the original in placed and repglued it. So It's not perfect, but far better than you'd expect. Looks really nice too.
It would be great of you try the Sire H7, Larry Carlton, considering price, finish and tone. (vs. epis and the original 335). Nice review, as usual lml
Thanks to your video I decided to order one ....a wine red T-style. (the orange one is beautiful too). I plan to have quality pickups and wiring installed. I was intrigued by the stock compound radius neck. I am expecting it to be very comfortable to play. Also considering the purchase of a G&L Bluesboy Tribute semi-hollow in orange and possibly a Pacifica 311MS.
I bought an Eart headless and it has the best neck of all my guitars. It's actually one of my favorite guitars. If you are thinking about an Eart don't hesitate. No, I don't have any affiliation to Eart. I am just happy not to be over paying for an instrument which guitar players do all the time. Nice review.
How do you like the bridge with the winding tool? I love it. It's easy to use and it keeps the guitar in tune amazingly. I love my headless. From what I understand, the bridge is totally unique to that guitar.
@@randomhero8662 Unfortunately the bridge is my least favorite part of the guitar. It does stay in tune but it's hard to get in tune. When I tune a string the adjacent tuner will also move slightly. This causes the adjacent string to go out of tune when tuning. Also, I like to play metal and muting isn't like muting on say a Floyd for instance. I am using 8's for strings. Maybe they are too light for the headless. I don't know....
Great review, surprisingly a quality guitar. Your playing has improved so much over the years. Congrats on your high integrity of the channel and your playing. If you could do me a big favour, I'd like to see you review Dean Zelesky guitars- their finish detail creative design is over the top for me, but how about a review. Dean has done much research, he deserves at least some exposure from quality channels like yours ! Now 'WHEN' is the question you can review it ??? Have fun, Thank you...
Hi Phil, Thanks for your enthusiasm and thorough take on so many products. I have been saving for a G&L Tribute Tele with MFD pickups. This Eart, however, is very tempting. There is one for sale in my area for $350.00, it has been modded with Fender Player Series pickups
I'm probably watching your vids out of chronological order. Last night you were talking high end custom Kiesel guitars so I spent some time on their website. Today it's an extremely affordable Chinese made/US designed brand. My head is spinning, but I think my wallet will win out in the end. Keep it up, Phil.
I've had very good luck with budget guitars, going back to 1980 Ibanez, but this looks like a new high bar for entry-level stuff. I wouldn't hesitate to put this beside my Gibson and Fenders, all excellent guitars.
I bought an EART 'Strandberg" copy a while back, and it has been fantastic! Tuning stability top notch, build quality (including fret finish excellent). Bought it as a knock about guitar, but it has become my daily player....
thanks Phil that was great. Man I just cant decide between the tele and the strat. Im thinking the tele but you were right it sounded a little dark. I usually end up changing pickups anyway so hear I go lol. Thanks again, You put a lot of polish on your videos and we know what to expect. Know Your Gear
Love my Eart tele! I got a Cherry Burst Limited Edition last summer for $325. The neck is great but I do have one issue. Around fret 14 my high E string gets caught under the fret end. Little super glue fixed it. I didn't like the pups and replaced them with some vintage retro ones from GFS. Thanks for reviewing!
I have the strat from EART, and i love it.. I took the string trees off and they stays in tune perfectly. I also have a note that came with a set up NYXL’s on it another surprising feature. I liked it so much I bought another…And I have a PRS a Gibson, apple phone, to Stratus, one fender one from vintage, and I find myself playing the EART more and more just because of that neck. And the pick ups sound wonderful
I have an EARt Strat it has no competitors. Regardless of price. I have many high dollar guitars from which to choose. Today's fit and finish along with electronics, it's hard to justify spending retail for a name brand. Reply
After watching your video I purchased the Strat version for fun. Absolutely impressive fretwork. The neck is amazing. I dropped in some new pickups and electronics I had laying around and the guitar is just is laughably good and superior to any Squier Classic Vibe I have played. Including the large steel block trem. Just a great platform for upgrade.
I got something like that from a Chinese guitar distributor on Amazon - at the rock bottom price of $75 including shipping. The fretwork was excellent though not as rounded as the EART, but the alnico pickups take the cake, both powerful and dynamic - they can be adjusted to ANY style of music. I haven't even bothered to change out the strings - which is usually a customary thing I feel I need to do on something that cheap! If you like Strats, Teles, Les Pauls, and SG's - China has overtaken the US in high quality, inexpensive guitars. My guess is that it cost EART $79 to have them manufactured at the quality level that they demanded - but had to buy a quantity to have their name put on the headstock. If you are a collector - I can see buying an expensive guitar that you eventually turn around and sell at a higher price - but you take a chance that may not happen, and you are the one who is stuck with an overpriced guitar. If you are a player - go cheap - and modify the guitar to meet your specs - if you are picky on sound.

This was my first online guitar purchase ever!
Sire has been my eye-opener. Shows how much we are overcharged, and how the bog boys handicap their spec sheets.
I've been thinking of getting a Session. I take it you're happy with yours.
@@FilmFlam Very happy with Godin guitars, I have a Session with and a Session Custom w/active boost switch.
Just a FYI for all...EART...They make/sell a really nice looking Strat style model with HSS pickup array for $369 as well....
Shalom/gw
Great comment. Thank you for sharing.
Had the same problem,s ent it back. Did not get offered a new neck but that’s pretty cool 😎
I just bought this guitar and the TL-380! Waiting for their arrival on Sunday. Love your channel!
I have to say it really does look good for that price range. The neck carve and fretwork is the most important thing to me when buying a guitar. Looks like quality throughout. The neck pickup did sound dark and a bit muddy, but changing that out is an easy & affordable fix. Great review.
Be careful - looks can be deceiving. You often do get what you pay for with some of the more budget-friendly guitars.
Having sold my Fender Vibe and Player Tele's , bought this EART Tele still have it and play it a lot!
Great demo of both items. You should do more blues demos of other equipment reviews. Sounds great. thanks.
Thanks Phil. Great review. Much appreciated!!
Picked up one of these a year ago, the neck is amazing and it one of the most comfortably playing guitar. Only my PRS is better... pickups need to be swapped but that's about it!
Just ordered mine. Thanks for the review Mate , it helped me make my decision .
"We Are Paying Too Much On Brand Names" - that's a great true, specialy about Gibson
Could you test the B10 Precision bass model Eart has recently released ?
They cost between 469€ and 549€ on Amazon (depending on the finish).
Their Jazzbass model cost even more at 729€.
Wondering why such a heavy price tag…
Sounds great, jazz oriented and all the other stuff. Fat sound on that neck pickup is badass.
At $369.00 retail, you could install a different neck pickup to enhance the tone you’re after and still not break the bank.
thank you for your great reviews and insights on guitars its much appreciated
Good news is we can also get these here in Wales. I'm tempted due to just how good the neck appears to be. Nice to know how it is routed under the pick guard as I do like to put humbuckers in the neck position on a Tele.
It is routed for a humbucker pup.
So the fender stay s?
Nobody does a better review; Phil, thanks for your thoroughness and honest appraisals. Eart is putting out some fine axes these days.
If you wanted to brighten the neck pickup, what would you recommend for a pickup replacement?
Cheap guitars no longer (necessarily) mean low quality guitars. I think it’s great that people without thousands of dollars to spend can get their hands on some really quality affordable instruments. That wasn’t always the case
That's just incredible. I own a Chinese mad Epiphone and the guitar's fantastic. And it cost me like 400 EUR. Back in the day, cheap guitars just meant total trash. Now you get nice instruments. Just makes you wonder, how much you really should be paying for guitars, how much is really worth it.
@@47279J ♥️my $136 Harley Benton SC450P90GT gold top , added gotoh delta 1:21 tuners and now its my #1 my gbbies n fenders lonely on the stands right now 😅
My $350 Harley Benton Fusion 3 is amazing roasted maple, SS frets, graptech nut and lockin tuners on a lightweight body!
I've got a Strat HSS from Eart. And it's an amasing guitar for it's cost. Came to a shop for a Mexican Strat and finally took Eart. 😄
I disagree i think the cheaper guitars of old were better. The wood nowadays is way worse (even on high end guitars) but the fit and finish is way BETTER. Problem is you can't fix bad wood but you could fix the other things
I can tell just by how you are playing that the fretwork on this guitar is a lot better than most.
I wish my Jackson had fretwork like that.
I have the Eart headless hardtail & it's pretty killer.
Great review! very fair.
I sold my Fender player strat, I kept my Squier sonic telecaster. Enough said.
I bought the exact same model for a beater to keep at work. Nice fretwork but the neck is not roasted. I drilled a hole in the heal and it's just a tinted neck.
Yes sir,saw that on another channel, guy took neck off and saw difference in tint.
I like their T style features on the body and the neck. I can't build one with those features at that price. I will probably be ordering one soon. Thanks for the video Phillip.
Ive heard others say you have to change the pickups. I like a really dark tone at home
Do you have an eart explorer maybe? If yes, could you give some info about it, thank you.
I just want to thank you for taking the time to make this post. Just excellent, valuable info.
Hi Nathan. What tuners would you replace them with if I may ask
@@deadmanswife3625 I went with Hipshot griplock tuners, fit fine without any issues
Thanks Phillip, love all your videos, I just replaced the nut on my tele, set by using the 3rd fret method you like, and am very pleased.. Thanks again.
Great information Thank you
Thank you for showing this guitar. Very nice
Great information, Phil. You have taken this format to another level.
Interesting video. Thanks for posting this!
the one guitar i don't have is a tele and you just made me a believer in that one plus it looks great. thanks
Phillip . Mine is just like the one you have . I LOVE MINE . 8 MONTHS NOW . THE NECK AND COLOR IS AMAZING. BETTER THAN OTHER TELE😢IVE PLAYED
Seems like this one would be a particularly good candidate for -> buy it and put nice pickups in it. Ya think?
The headstock design is cool. And if this channel is raving about it, it must be noteworthy
Great, informative review Phillip.
Sound seems to lean a little strat-ish. If I was looking to buy my first guitar and couldn't decide between a Tele and a strat, I'd buy this one.
I think it sounds good. Looks great. Almost makes me want to buy one. Not crazy about Teles. :-) Also, not sure about the neck radius.
I love that guitar just from looking at it. It looks completely right.
Phillip, thanks for not starting every video with you shredding incredibly and blasting our ears out showing off. So many other videos out there that are 'reviews' but I'd say just a chance for the reviewer to show off his/her shredding ability.
Wow love it. Sounds great!
Hi Alvaro. I will make it happen. Thank you for posting
Hi Phil,
Thanks for your enthusiasm and thorough take on so many products.
I have been saving for a G&L Tribute Tele with MFD pickups. This Eart, however, is very tempting. There is one for sale in my area for $350.00, it has been modded with Fender Player Series pickups
... would you have a preference between these two teles?
Awesome video and great playing for a bass man.
I had to do a fret job on mine, but I real love it with Seymour Duncan pickups in it. great stuff coming from Eart!
Cool. Sounds like fun. Did it have kind of a regular net carbs? Or do they have that really crazy squared off twisted Stranberg neck?
@@JohnnyArtPavlou I'd say its a totally conventional carve. Not supershredder, not a baseball bat, just normal...
I have 2 of their W2 headless guitars and I have to agree. Such great quality and great fun to play something a bit different for not much money
You should look at their most expensive offerings too. They are mega featured packed for under 1k. I'm convincing myself to get one.
thanks Phil that was great.
Where did you buy the Cherry burst limited edition version?
I think your comment was deleted??
@@bushcry1 I got my eart on ebay from a reseller. Studiotyson
@@DavidLHolzer Thank you. I remember his videos on YT.

Which guitar did you buy that was $79?
As always...Thanks Phil!
