Thank you for this! 💯 I'm looking to pick up a 2007 sport in the VERY near future. I'm not looking to run 35's just yet but in case I need to trim for tire rub, this is spot on to keep things clean underneath!👍
Thanks for the video. I have 2003 GX470 and the relocation kit appears to be the same, so I ordered the 4thgenwtrk from Silver Rhino...good job on the video.
Just a word of caution for GX470 owners who want to do this mod…the GX470 has 3 plugs that go into the tank. The 4th Gen 4R only has two. So, I had to remove the water level floatation sensor to prevent the empty windshield fluid light on the dashboard of a GX470
How much more difficult would this have been to do if you still had the stock front bumper? I might would do this ahead of getting a high clearance bumper.
I have the same truck with the V-8. Curious what your highway mileage is like? I would imagine that the bigger tires and such would detract from your mileage. With the V-8 mine is already pretty poor. As most people know. Thank you.
So with my current set up 295’s, front bumper, rear swing out bumper with spare tire and not being regeared I get about 13.8-14ish highway (driving no faster than 65mph) and probably around 11.8 city. Once I regear the mpg should increase though.

Yeah man it definitely cleans up the look. Once you get rid of the stock front bumper then the white plastic sticks out like a sore thumb
Very detailed, just ordered mine. Thanks for the tutorial.
Absolutely man! Thanks!

For sure! Thanks!!!

Let’s goooooo. Another awesome upgrade! I’m in on this too.
Thanks man!!!
Would you consider getting a new cold air intake? Great video too man 🔥
I mean I haven’t really considered it to be honest
Great video! Finally getting around to doing this relocation
Thanks! I put off doing mine for the longest lol

It’s probably gonna be a little harder for sure but you could just take off the front bumper. You can see how to do it on my front bumper build video
what's the volume of the new tank compared to the old tank?
It’s a lot smaller but that’s pretty much the point.

I have same truck, v6 too but 4x2, it’s my DD - how necessary would it be to regear with 295s ATs?
Nice! If you don’t have any armor on then you’ll be fine. You’ll see a decrease in mpg but it’s not like having full armor and No regear like me
Additionally- no armor, never going to be towing, but 90% city driving 10% hwy… Not going to be too hard on the transmission?
Anyone tried this with a GX 460?
Yeah they’re basically the same thing🤙🏿
