Do you want to build this yourself?
    - STEP-Files for the Beta version of the Cyclone inlets are free to download in the shop for all my payed Patreon supporters on: Patreon.com/capturingdust/shop
    - Files to print the normal Centrifugal Separator are Free available at: github.com/Makerr-Studio/CentrifugalDustSeparator-

Great progress! The cyclone inlet is a very interesting addition

The results are very good. I like the way you approach your work. I really want to continue my project. I will try to get closer to your data.

Thx! What is your status now? You made a piece of art that can’t be replicated with a 3D printer!

Great results really. With the third stage and some kind of auto cut off when full you'd have near perfect results.

Thanks for the update. I have made a 65% scaled down version for my garage, love it ! Can't wait to see the new inlet. Are they making the air spin the opposite direction on the second stage ?

Your welcome! I’m interested to see more about your scaled down version!
The first stage air spins is indeed in opposite direction. Only I think the pressure loss will be slight less when the spin in the same direction. I need to build a new test setup to figure that one out 😊.

@CapturingDust could you just exchange the left tube with the right tube to have the direction match the intake ?

Yes you can. Only in this setup I used the asymmetrical outlets for the second dustport. So in this case I will need to change the cutout in the baseplate or upgrade to the symmetrical version of that outlet.

A very thorough approach. Thank you for this and the effort you put in.
Any updates on including motors in the design? I think about buying a cam vac now and printing your design or waiting with the purchase.
    Thanks again and merry Christmas

The progress on the motors is slow going but I ordered some 200mm tube to force some progress on this topic and test out some ideas to check its feasibility. I will share the updates on my Patreon as soon as there is any progress 😅.

I noticed that new cyclone inlet makes air swirl at the opposite direction as the fins after 1st stage. Was that designed purposely to slow down airstream so more chips will fall into the 1st bin?

Great observation! The design constraints for the Y-piece print volume and the existing assembly direction of the impellers made this the easiest setup to build. So no real thought was given to that.
I need to conduct further testing to determine if it impacts efficiency or resistance. However, I need to build a better test setup first to accurately measure pressure differences to make accurate statements about it!

    nice buur-man!
