Fantastic lists of books both read and unread!! Also, I totally understand the mood reading(feeling like one type of book sometimes and a different type another). I don’t usually stick to a strict TBR besides doing readathons(like my Self-Pub September).

Malazan is peak fiction! Glad your enjoying it I find Midnight Tides one of my favourites in the series as its close to being a standalone. A book id recommend that’s fantasy but a different spin is The Curse of Chalion by Lois McMaster Bujold. Just one of the best plotted books I’ve ever read, a bit slower, character focused and more introspective than others but by the end it all comes together.

@Chance.Dillon I have like 50 pages left. It's been a challenging read, I feel like I've only understood like 70% or less of the book, but that doesn't mean I haven't enjoyed it. It has been one of the best books I've ever read, without a doubt, one of my favorite books of all time

It has the most epic scenes I’ve ever read, best magic system, world building, characters rand is the greatest character ever written I’ll say. But it’s a commitment 14 books and all really long but I can see how much you love fantasy and I think you definitely should check it out. Also it has been a bridge between classic fantasy like lord of the rings, sword of Shanara exct into the modern day fantasy. I truly believe anyone who is planing to write a fantasy novel should read and study it.
