Great little mixer! I don't see how it could do 90 liters but worked fantastic for doing structural concrete at 30. It was slightly overflowing sometimes, but manageable. At 30. It was nice that it was so portable even with a mix this size. Here's my mix: 66 kg navvy jack 10kg cement 4.3 l water In that order. That's approx 30 liters (.03 cu m) of concrete, ~30 mpa could be expected with proper QC on the water and aggregate side.
i understand mixing ratios but you used 8 shovels and half a bag of cement , would i be right in thinking that the half bag is roughly the same as 2 shovels making it a 4:1 mix " i only ask because i plan to do my own driveway soon and i like the method you use as its much simpler than shoveling from the bag. Hope im making sense 😁.
Aha, yes, it was 4:1, I tested it with a bucket first, to see what "1" of cement looked like and then checked how many of my shovels would do it. If it is just driveway concrete then I wouldn't stress too much about it. As long as each mix is consistent the driveway will look the same.

Just wondering what other people use
Does it have to be a “yellow” tub?
Most certainly. Anything else would be foolish.
What ratio for mortor and laying block?
It depends on the sand you are using mostly. And if you are using lime or cement. Ask someone local. Like the guy who sells the sand. Thanks
For mortar mix 6 to 1
loved the intro
Thanks Buddy, no expense spared!
How Much did you pay for it and from where did you get it please . Many thanks 👍👍👍👌❤️
Hi there, I bought it a long time ago.
If I was using sharp sand?
I reckon 3:1 sand:cement. That’s what I use. By volume.
sorry if this makes me sound silly but what mix would that roughly be ? 4:1. 5:1?
It is done by volume, so 4 shovels of sand/gravel to 1 of cement is 4:1. Likewise 5:1.

thanks for the reply ,much appreciated , from what you said if i do 16 shovels and a full bag ill be just about right.👍
You must have a big mixer!
I tend to use 4.1. Would that work, too?
If you are already using 4:1 why are you asking me?
Any tips for cleaning the mixer?
