  • The Minimix 150 from Belle is a tip-up professional mixer. It is compact and portable for easy transportation but large enough to mix a full barrow load of concrete or mortar. It has a proven robust and durable design and an extra thick drum with quick mix paddles, as well as a heavy-duty sealed cast gearbox for longer life and full thermal overload protection.
    Construction companies, hire shops and DIYers all over the globe use Belle mixers and, although they are incredibly reliable, heavy use can inevitably cause a few issues - but nothing that isn’t easy to fix!

    Thanks, but how do you remove the Pulley shaft bearing ?........Not the drum shaft bearing..and is it grease lubed or from the oil in the gearbox? Thanks

    when I press the On button the drum does not rotate and I hear a electical buzzing noise. Do you have any idea what the issue could be?

      Hello, that sounds as though there is an issue with the capacitor and it will need replacing.

      Hello,
      It sounds as though the electric motor is worn and needs replacing. Unfortunately this is a domestic machine so we are unable to supply parts for this. We can however supply a complete new machine which can be found here: www.htsplant.com/product-category/cement-mixers/

    The small pulley keeps coming off on my belle minimix 150 it would seem the star shaped split washer has had it. Do you know if this is a common problem

    • @htsspares7718
      @htsspares7718  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello, if the pulley shaft is worn then it will keep coming loose and may need replacing.
      We would suggest a new pulley kit (which will include the star washer) and see how that goes. You can purchase the pulley kit here: www.htsspares.com/catalogue/tool/mixer/belle-minimix-150-parts/show/belle-minimix-150-electric-motor-after-april-2002/electric-pulley-kit

      Hello,
      It sounds like the capacitor needs replacing.
      Depending on the voltage of your machine you may require a HMX0525 (230V Capacitor) or a HMX0097 (110V Capacitor), both available on our website at: www.htsspares.com/buy/motor-capacitor-110uf
      Please let us know if we can help with anything else :)

    I think the capacitor has gone on mine.Would a broken capacitor smell,and can I still use it to finish a job before replacing the capacitor or would this cause more damage?

    • @htsspares7718
      @htsspares7718  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It does sound like your capacitor may have blown, you'd be wise to change this as not only could it cause more damage to the motor, but it could also potentially catch fire!
      Depending on the voltage of your machine you may require a HMX0525 (230V Capacitor) or a HMX0097 (110V Capacitor), both available on our website at: www.htsspares.com/buy/motor-capacitor-110uf

    Hi ive caught the wire today on a belle 150 mixer and its pulled the wires out of the 110 end. Ive put it all back how it should be and its still not working no sound no nothing. Is there a fuse located anywhere on the mixer that i could of blown theres no other loose wires everything looks fine

      Hi Rob, thanks for your question! There's no fuse within the machine, but I wonder if you may have tripped the trip on the transformer.

    Why is my 2002 belle mixer electric 220v motor running in an anticlockwise direction? It starts fine with no humming. What could it be ? I have checked my wiring and it corresponds with the wiring diagram for this particular model.

    • @htsspares7718
      @htsspares7718  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hello
      You could try wiring it the opposite way and seeing if the motor starts running the correct way.

    Hi
    I am in Sydney Australia, I have a belle mini mix 150 that occasionally makes a real loud fast knocking sound from the motor when it has been on for a while and is full . If I turn it off and empty it, the noise goes away

      Hey, thanks for your question! Assuming it's petrol-powered, it sounds like it's the belt slipping. This means you'll either need a new belt, or a new pulley wheel (depending on where the issue stems from).
      If you're browsing our site, I've linked both parts below:
      - Belt: www.htsspares.com/catalogue/tool/mixer/belle-minimix-150-parts/show/belt-honda-g100-gx120-briggs-stratton-electric

      Hope you get it sorted!

    I have this cement mixer and it runs for a few minutes then stops it's got a new capacitor and the fan is working could it be the points need cleaning please can you advise?

    • @htsspares7718
      @htsspares7718  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi Paul, a couple of things you could look into: check whether the points need cleaning, check for a faulty motor or a faulty switch that could be tripping the switch. Hope this helps!

    I replaced the belt on my mini 150 the other day it’s started to make a thumping noise when I look at the motor the housing is shuddering a bit the more I put in the worse it gets it hasn’t stopped yet but I’m concerned if I’m in the middle of a job

    • @htsspares7718
      @htsspares7718  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Gary, it could be that the Pulley has worn out so it is just grinding on the belt.

    • @garyloudon2417

      @@htsspares7718 the pulley looks ok I’m not sure I’m going to run it with some concrete in it and leave the cover off to see if I see anything obvious the things is it’s a 2008 model but it’s not been hard worked in my opinion.

      Haha I don’t think it’s the switch bud it’s the folio plastic fan not spinning keeping the motor cool so it over heats and cuts out. If the switch didn’t work it wouldn’t work full stop.

    Could a old, stretched (loose) drive belt possibly cause an occasional whining noise from the electric motor area?

    • @htsspares7718
      @htsspares7718  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Robert, yes it could do as it might be not fully engaging with the pulley and slipping on the gear teeth.

    • @theonlybuzz1969

      I find that if you let the labourer have some time for his dinner, then he tends to stop whining about as much.
