@@tnate6004 Thanks for the info. I hope the new stage and audience area will be a lot more bigger than what it is now. I also hope it looks a lot more like the Barker era. Michael, thank you for showing us what it's like before the show starts. I've been to The Price is Right Live countless times and I know what the announcer has to do to get the crowd fired up before the "show" actually starts, but to see what George has to do is just beyond words. Thanks for the tour and the behind the scenes look!

51 years TPIR filmed in that studio. Pluto playing Bob episodes that can last for an eternity. I just really really hope the show can invite Bob and get him to the studio anyway necessary if he makes it to 100. If Bob and Nancy (his girlfriend) say it's okay it would just be awesome for all the fans if that can happen. It's just going to be weird not see those two red flower things ( I don't know what they are called) on the floor that was always a staple when Bob and Drew came out.
I would work there just for the buffet, but that's OK. I've gotten used to bringing my own food to work, but I could get used to that buffet. I went to a The Price is Right taping a long time ago (the Bob Barker era). Me, and the friends I went with, weren't chosen to "come on down." Oh well. It's The Price is Right's loss. I remember almost every contestant lost that day. That was probably because I was never chosen. :/

I would be too nervous to be a contestant on that show, plus this video proves the crowd is wild before the show even starts! There's so much energy behind the scenes, even more than what we see on TV!
I don't think he is planning to leave anytime soon, sadly TPIR is not the same without Bob, and I honestly do not think his retirement was all his decision - it's a shame that there were so much controversies behind the scenes MAYBE that contributed partly to his decision., in my opinion I do not believe Bob is entirely happy with the direction the show has taken since, and I would agree too, and I do not necessarily think that Drew was the BEST pick. One of the main reasons CBS is keeping those game shows on the air despite their ratings decline is that they are cheap to produce and cost a fraction of the price compared to scripted series which cost several millions per episode. As far as the current studio it will undergo a little over a billion $ in renovations.
33K was Bob Barker's dressing room. When The Price Is Right wasn't taping, 33K was shared by other emcees like Ray Combs (Family Feud, 1988-1994), Bob Eubanks (Card Sharks, 1986-1989), Bill Rafferty (Card Sharks, 1986-1987), Richard Dawson (Family Feud, 1994-1995), etc.
