ramonypony It's almost like Jesse is a part of him but I think it was put on in this skit too. I've watched plenty of other videos/interviews where he's a total sweetheart, a reason why he's my favourite actor :)
Jesse was a very, very literal extension of himself. I mean Aaron Paul is great at acting and was superb in that show, but I don't think he's got the best range. He brought a lot of elements of himself into that performance. And he was so good they kept him alive for the duration of the show (they originally planned to have him killed in Season 1 before the writer's strike happened around that same time). However, I don't know that that's what was best for his career, because you're not the only one who only sees Jesse when they see him. That's called typecasting. Actors who stay in the business avoid this like the plague. I think he's great but his choice of projects to work on have been severely limited as a result of his role in Breaking Bad.
voteZDLR I mean, i think the original commenter is right. If you watch Aaron Paul in Ghost Writer in 2006 he's playing a pretty different character than Jesse (and, funny enough, he's doing it with Giancarlo Esposito.)
This makes me so happy, and I always feel the happiness and sadness of 2000s Aaron Paul. The guy was broke and was so happy when he got the opportunity, it's contagious.
ihurricane7 that would have been AMAZING ON SO MANY LEVELS 😂The Jesse “bitch” reference AND the Happy Gilmore reference with Bob Barker saying that to Happy. Tres bitchin’ 🤣
Just think about that, if he had won the prize, probably would never become an actor and Jesse from Breaking Bad would be someone else than him. I'm glad he lost.
Nuno Costa well, he was playing for a car and he was still an aspiring actor so he might've still been on the same path that led to the cinnamon crunch commercial and breaking bad
Jesse in my opinion could hav been anyone. He didnt really stick on me till the last few seasons. But from the early seasons he was just a wannabe gangster saying bitch alot riding the curtails of the great walter white
He's nice. He's from my hometown. He buys out the local theater and lets locals go in to watch a premier of a show he's in with him. He's very chill. If people visit his house in LA, he'll come out and talk to them. Idaho is still home for him. He's got a cabin in McCall Idaho close to my family's, and he chills there a lot in the summer to get away from the LA life for a bit. It's a small town on a lake. Perfect for those from the Boise area.
Mandan Howard we have the same experience with Drew Carey here in Cleveland. I live like a mile away from him. There is a shopping center about halfway between each of our houses and we see him there every once in awhile. Very congenial. Very down the Earth.
those r called a apple. u can pick it off a tree or grow it from the grond. if u pick it from the potatos u can still water the gordan for fruits withot losing to many obstackles and thank u
Aaron Paul is a good actor. If what I'm let to believe is true, and he had no formal training as an actor prior to breaking bad, it's even more impressive... or maybe this has been beneficial to him?
the way those shows are shot has a lot to do with it. I took a tour of NBC's studios in New York and the Tonight Show's studio is a lot smaller than I thought it would be, same with SNL's studio. I highly recommend taking that tour if you ever get the chance.
A lot of it is how historic the Price Is Right set was too. It hasn't moved since 1972, I think, so it's still the same little 300-capacity venue it was then, no matter how popular it got.
What a surprise, another skit James Corden made more about himself than his guest. 🙄 He does it every time on car pool karaoke too. Tries to sing louder than the actual singer in the car. I’m glad he’s finally off the air! 🎉🎉 PS- Aaron Paul is a phenomenal actor and a good sport!
2/4 isn't bad. Stephen is too much of a Trump basher... like every monologue is basically The Daily Show, lol. Letterman was great. Ferguson was fun. And Corden... ehhhhh, you never hear about his interviews, so he's basically the CBS Fallon, except he does more off-studio skits that are filmed and edited.
4:35 - Drew (watching this in his dressing room): The *_hell?!?!_* That's the third time this week! I'm not putting with up _this_ any longer... (storms out in a huff towards studio)
He won the SHowcase SHowdown, AKA where they spin the WHeel. He didn't win the SHowcase, which follows the second Showcase Showdown. January 3, 2000 was his original airdate. alt.tv.game-shows member Rob Rosa kicked off the 1/3/2000 episode by winning a car in Spelling Bee.
i see how skinny and nerd he looked at that time, i see myself being just like he was back then and now i have the hope and conviction i'll become a man in a few years
The look of utter betrayal and disbelief on Aaron's face is priceless. Yes, he was acting, but he still nailed it.
He was acting in both and nailed it in both.
Hit him harden than when walt told him he watched jane die
@@eugkra33 that's how he was cast for Jesse Pinkman. Saw his energy and knew he was the guy. 🤣🤣
Jesse, what are you doing?! We have to cook

Do you comment on literally every video Aaron Paul is in lmao
lmfao i cant breath
Walter White Ain’t you dead Mr. White?
Fuck you Mr. White, we're done bitch!
It seems like he's always in character as Jesse and I can't tell if that's just how he is or if Jesse is a part of him now.
it's just who he is. if he was in character, he'd be screaming "bitch" after stuff

The Ghost Whisperer not Ghost Writer, according to IMDB anyway.
This makes me so happy, and I always feel the happiness and sadness of 2000s Aaron Paul. The guy was broke and was so happy when he got the opportunity, it's contagious.
should've said "The Price is Wrong BITCH!!" and then stolen the machine. still though Aaron Paul is cool
Yeah there were so many ways they could have made this skit funnier. Missed opportunity. :(
But then they'd be stealing Adam Sandler's material.
ihurricane7 that would have been AMAZING ON SO MANY LEVELS 😂The Jesse “bitch” reference AND the Happy Gilmore reference with Bob Barker saying that to Happy. Tres bitchin’ 🤣

Aaron seems to be such a nice and funny person. And we all were expecting him to say "yeah bitch" because we cant get over Breaking Bad, we just can't

This is the best thing I've seen all week

They should've had the face masks with the little pom pom on top like BB
Very funny. I can't believed that he was in The Price is Right and over bid by just over $100.00
Why does he never talks about Bojack Horseman? That's classic.

CBS always has the best talk show hosts: Craig Ferguson, David Letterman, James Corden, Stephen Colbert.
Wyatt Li Craig Ferguson was best by far though
I loved Craig's show and was really bummed when he left. I really didn't want to like James but I actually him a lot. Both shows are good.
