Libido was groundbreaking for me. It brought me to OnlyOneOf and I became a fan immediately. Like you said-it’s iconic! I love these men…I love their relationships, their music, their dancing, and how they don’t hide anything. Just beautiful!! ❤️❤️
Iconic is absolutely the right term. time leap seemed so "easy" and soft while featuring their particular brand of gorgeous vocals, visuals, and concept. I would love if they made a bit more music like sOng Of ice and fire, just because it felt like a really digestible track that you can enjoy for any reason/occasion. As much as I love where they've gone, I do miss some elements of pre-libidO, and hope they're able to incorporate that in the future. Now, once we actually GOT libidO, though, it was game over. Not only is the song, video, choreography, visuals, and wardrobe just made of sex, it's all so perfectly restrained that it feels deliberately held (see the dance practice choreo for reference) back. It also set the stage for the couples/units that would produce music together after and now. The GP version of the dance is basically Nine flirting with everything/one, and I'm here for it. I think we've seen a true surge of KB self-confidence, too, moving from "I should be..." to "I am...", which is visible growth that's amazing. I really, really would love to have seen how far the original choreo went that we drew it back to THIS. 🤤 Looking forward to dance practices and this group getting all the (L)ove. And to Rie!! So excited.

Checking on the timing of the release a sOng of ice and fire, it was a week after BTS Dynamite so can't blame any songs for getting lost in the whirlpool of that behemoth. If I remember correctly, Dynamite won on Music Bank every week for a year or something like that?? Anyway, back to OnlyOneOf - I don't know if you had a chance to review designer but they are performing it on tour. I love that a lot of their early songs (they debuted May 2019!!) are on their setlist AND each stop they are doing full versions of one or two of the member solo songs (they change it up). I also hope Love is doing well, he may have completed his military service by now.
3:51 "time leap" was the first song I heard from them and the nostalgic feeling drew me in right away, haha. And because of that I was so surprised when I looked them up that they were a new group.

I love the aesthetics of both time leap and sOng of Ice and fire - the combination of industrial looking location and the art they express there... I don't know why but it works for me. Also whenever I re-listen time leap I instantly remember KB's "time leap Oreo" joke.😆 He ruined the serious tone of the song for me. As you said libidO is iconic. And I was really impressed with their stages and how they managed to be extra passionate and spicy whenever their choreo got censored on a show. Like yes, ok, we will modify it but you might regret it...
