    Do you know of a wireless camera that cell driven and would show the interior of the car and show 360 degrees live stream? This would be used as wireless security. Thank you for your comments. Andre from Minneapolis.

      There used to be 360 Waylens for consumer, recently they changed to Fleet only.

    Love your vidioes and purchased o Blackvue as a result .
    I just purchased the DR750X-2Ch Plus ,I bought this for a bit of peace of mind when parking my vehicle , my Blackvue should be able to hook up to Wifi , I'm not worried about daytime parking but more during the night when the creepers are out , can I shut off the camera during the day from my phone .

    Is there anyway to add 3rd channel to record the driver? I park a lot in New York City and most of the garages are valet. and they always scratch my car and denies it

      Not yet. You can do a 2CH setup with front/inside and a separate rear cam.

    Greetings, I own an older 750 model and was wondering how long they generally last. Due to UV exposure and heat from the windshield, the electronics wear down over time. I was just wondering if you had ever done a video of how long the dash cameras last during normal use.
    I previously lived in Tucson AZ and any dash camera I. used would generally get fried after just a few years. I now live back in FL and have started to have some issues with my 750 cutting on and off during normal driving. It seemed like it might be time to get a replacement...what are your thoughts on the longevity question?

    I just bought a non plus 750 2ch LTE and I am pretty satisfied. I own Model S which has no sentinel mode in it so it’s a real treat you can see what’s going on. I also like that the field of view is quite large compared to other cameras.

    4:39 the best comparison in this stillframe is the BMW license plate. you can tell how much more legible it is with the new updated model vs he old model :) thats the big win here IMHO!

    Just bought a GT-R...was looking for something that would allow me to peek in on it (it gets a SURPRISING amount of attention...lol) while it's parked and that can alert me if someone messes with the car while I'm not there. Stumbled upon this...looks like it'll work perfect. Good vid. Thanks!

    The fact that this model doesn't have the built in three-wire power, makes me think that it's basically a DR750 LTE with a better sensor. It's not an "X" camera.
    I think I'll go for the DR750X-2CH Plus (non-LTE). At local prices I'm saving $150-200. I think I'll rather put that towards a separate 4G or 5G router installed in the car.
    I guess the wifi ones can connect automatically to an available network?
    Is it possible to have preferred wifi connections? (I'd like it to connect to my home wifi rather than 4G when at home)

    Great info. After you helped me buy a good RD I am now following you for DashCam selection. I was all set on the latest Blackvue DR900X-2CH Plus 4K with LTE Module (cloud and hotspot capability is important to me). But... what is the biggest difference between the latest 750 series and the latest 900 with LTE module.? I like the 4K of 900 but if 750 has some other goodies it might be the better choice. Thanks for your service!

    • @VortexRadar

      4K and external LTE vs 1080p and bulkier cam with integrated LTE. Different power cable too.

    • @panzer948
      @panzer948 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@VortexRadar thanks, ok I think I may stick with the 900X as i don't mind the external LTE issue. I like the power cable of the 900 better as well since I know it can detect car on or off. That will save money to avoid that extra battery pack as parking mode features are just as important for me as driving cam!

    First, it's not going to be soon since I just bought the LTE last fall. and frankly, lighter socket are obsolite. That is the reason that I never bought the battery. And in long terme, we need to tape the the lighter socket to make sure that it will stay connected.

    • @kevinsalguero
      @kevinsalguero 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@VortexRadar Yup I agree, a lot of problems today with dashcam come from overheating issues and with time heat is a big factor in them malfunctioning

    • @spencerward3606
      @spencerward3606 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@VortexRadar That’s a good point because it is a 4K camera. I like the idea they are doing with LTE module on the X models, I just have two cars that I wanted to setup with the rear camera each and the front camera mounts and wiring so I could just switch the front camera into the car I would be using. I like this dr750X-2ch LTE Plus because I wouldn’t have to purchase two LTE modules, but a 900x plus model with LTE could be ultimate for video quality. But having 1080p at 60fps that this camera has isn’t bad. Thanks for the review!

    Thank you for time and informative videos.
    I've noticed a two options in the settings that have seem to go away with the plus model.
    Video- increase brightness for front and rear is gone
    And
    LTE/WiFi- Wifi auto turn off is greyed out
    Video. Have you noticed this also.

    • @VortexRadar
      @VortexRadar  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Realistically you’ll get very short run times and overheating issues in the sun so generally people wire their dashcams in for full time power while driving. Otherwise you can grab a GoPro or something for temporary usage.

    I thought the 900X was the newest Blackvue? Why is the 750X Plus more capable than the higher number DR 900X?

    • @VortexRadar
      @VortexRadar  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The 900X is more cable than the 750X. This LTE model has built in LTE which isn’t available as a 900 version. The 900X relies on an external like the regular 750X.

    This might be the right camera for me. I park my car 3 blocks away from my apartment in a public garage. Yeah, it's pricey, but I think there is value there for my situation.

    Hi. I’m currently using the DR900X 2CH previous model (not the latest PLUS model). If I want to upgrade it with the latest DR750X 2CH LTE PLUS, will the existing wiring and casing setup be compatible with the latest dash cam? Like the cables and the windshield Mount and casing of DR900X be compatible with the new DR750X LTE plus?
    Can I just slide the old one out and slide the new one in?

      For your requirements you need 4ch dashcam, typical car has 4 sides, or 2ch 2 dashcams setup. There is somewhere video with setup. Obviously at the end everything comes with the price tag. Cheapest option to avoid doors dings try park car as far as possible from main entrance and family parking. My personal preference is stealth and discreet for the dashcam. But I’m sure there will be people who will put Google street cameras on top of they cars.
