Even if it wasnt offside which it clearly was, the ref was in the wrong for blowing the whistle without letting the play finish, had he not have blown it, lunin would have easily saved that weak ass shot and the defenders would have been able to react anyways, the moment the referee blew the whistle, the play had finished and that was it.

No it shouldn’t. The extra overtime was alright if you took the extra time due to the second goal with it long celebration and the time the var took to check. Also the ref added more because of the cramps end the extra time waste.

However with Real's goal VAR was able to intervene and correct the referee's mistake. Bayern's goal didn't cuz the referee quick whistle prevented VAR intervention. Once again Marciniak distorted the result of an important match.

The Refs (2 of them) absolutely blew it. Unfortunately, this happens hundreds of times a day on a football pitch somewhere in the World. A ball kicked to the back of the net after the whistle was blown and Lunin stopped playing and just allowed the lame kick from Matthijies to pass infront of him for it to be trapped by the back of the net. The referee should've allowed play to continue and use the opportunity of the VAR review, that one is a no brainer. He (ref) was the worst in almost every call he made (including attempting to disallow Jesuli's clear goal). Worse when he inserted an illegitimate 1st half of Extra Time when the scoreline was 2-1 (4-3).

excactly, It was the linesman's fault. He did not follow guidelines. Referee had no choice. He was way behind the play anyway. Consensus is that Bayern were unlucky. However once the whistle was blown the Madrid players stopped. Played to the whistle. Nobody knows whether a goal would have been scored in that case. And also the goal was scored minute 90+15, when it in the minute 11 referee said two minutes more to play

Why don't you talk about extending the game 15 minutes when the assigned time was 8 minutes. That extension, clearly against RM, you "forget" to mention, even though it's the most relevant thing, as with the proper time that last play wouldn't even happen.

It was entirely appropriate for those 5 additional minutes to be added between all those delays. More stoppage time can be added to the initial stoppage time. @@PresidentObsama It doesn't work like that, and that's precisely why they added this several years back. Originally, as you know, it was totally up to the referee. Now you have the warning, and then there are optional "add-ons". If you add those, they do not match the total played. Of course, there could be a few seconds here and there, but that's it. In any case, once he whistles for offside, whatever comes later is not valid, so there was never a cancelled goal.
Additionally, RM players stopped/slowed down after that whistle, so of course there were higher chances to get a goal.
