Hey DD, I don't know if you have much info about great ones, but if you do, is it the same exact rack on everyone's map, or is truracs being used? Also, is there only one great one whitetail on the map or can you potentially find another of the same species?

I'm waiting till after hotfix patch come out this weekend. All I been running in to 2-minors. Normally I can get in at 100- 150 yards before update. Now it seem all whitetail buck's jiddery. Either scents not working or awareness set to high. I also realize codex it still only have bronze, silver, gold and diamond. Great one are new ranking.

Honestly i have started to slowly stop playing cotw. All of the bugs and issues have been really annoying. But I’m going to start getting back into it and hoping to find a great one!

I was just attacked by a pack of wolves and there was a 9 legendary that I didn’t even know about and shot it and it’s a perfect 1000 score that’s only my second diamond ever

As a Hunter, I dont get why people worry about Medals in this game. All I care about it the Trophy rating. In the real world, we score deer on the Boon and Crocket (Gun) and Pope and Young (Bow) system. Those are the official systems for scoring trophies. The Medal system in this game is so weird, I just dont pay attention to it. If I have a diamond with a 220 score and a Gold with a 300 score, which one do you think Im putting on the wall? It aint the Diamond.

I got a Blacktail that scored 224.6 at Mushroom lake. It said it was only a 4 and the score range was 172-211, but it ended up being a 224. Absolutely unbelievable
Haven't killed a diamond whitetail yet, but your guide just helped me kill my second ever diamond, a Roosevelt Elk, scored 413
Just hunted today for a whitetail and it was .45 away from diamond. Was so sad. Lol.but nice on sharing your spots
I just shot a 275.1 level 3 with the 6.5 creedmore. Excellent buck for xbox! Only scored gold though. Took me forever to find a level 3 on console. I also have a lower 200's piebald whitetail!

So if no one seen latest news on COTW hotfix will be out Monday of next week. If you get a great one it will be counted as a diamond either way. There saying hotfix update will reset any great one calm before update will change to diamond. If you look at codex great one not in list anyway. It still bronze to diamond.
Once again a great video DD, I get terrible resets for Whitetails :( but hoping you get your Great One soon!

Great game play you really are a bow god you smoked that white tail at 120 and I can barely hit a broadside bull moose from 50 🤣 and thanks for the tips about the diamonds. Also do you know any good spots to hunt in arizona just moved here and I'm down southwest of Phoenix good pronghorn game but I dont want to make a trip out of state thank you

Also, I only have been hunting in Arizona 1 time and it was in Flagstaff for Elk.
Started out at 05:00 on the north end of that river system in Willipeg. Headed south and zig zagged all the way to where it forks in the north east of Mount Kraken ending up at 09:30. Saw ONE moose and ONE coyote.
No tracks. No droppings. Not one single need zone found.
What gives?

My dear friend, I am so thankful for your videos. I play the Hunter Call of the Wild for over 1670 hours and ever since the release in 2017 (or was it 2016?). Any video, that you release is very helpful for me. I really learn a lot out of this. Eg. I use the 70lbf bow and did not know, that the visor for the bow is released for the 60lbf bow, so I am Messing up most of the heartshots, especially on bears thank you for that tip. It seems to be a small hint, but it is absolutely worthly for me, so thank you for this and all your other videos. Stay healthy!

I smoked a level 2 diamond whitetail yesterday on the far northeast corner of the map by the river system. He scored 288! Unfortunately i wasn’t able to get him with a bow because I had no cover on the side of the river to put a spot and stalk on him. He makes my 3rd diamond whitetail so far

Awesome video, DD! ..Since the new patch came out some of my animals fur types have changed in my lodge. My albino Mouflon changed to a common fur type and two of my big common Mouflon are now Melanistic.. Lol. Has this happened to you at all? All the best, brother!

I’ve gotten a whitetail last year it scored a 946 and it broke my heart. I haven’t gotten anything similar since.
Love the videos I've only ever shot one dimond whitetail but he did score 998 and was melanistic
I messed up a piebald whitetail it scored 268 but I used 7 mm I hit it in the leg so didn’t get full metal score but right after I got max scoring moose :)

Love the video! It's funny, my wife enjoys playing COTW, but she plays it in a more of a walking simulator, she loves the sceneries and walking and exploring around, not a whole lot of hunting, but if she sees an animal she'll shoot it once in a while, she's been playing it for 3 months now, at level 11, just saying to give some perspective, she has 11 diamond whitetails and 4 diamond blacktail, 5 diamond moose and just a few diamond elk, whereas i only have 4 diamond caribou all from Med Ved map after the new scoring system, i been playing for over 4 months and at level 52. I should seriously take her strategy, I get so distracted by vocalization calls off in the distance, forget what i'm doing and chase after it, time and time again, never getting any of them, and lose track of time. it's crazy how that works an depends on the way you play it, makes all the difference
there is a lot of inconsistency in this comment. your wife doesn't level up much, doesn't hunt much. therefor she has neither money nor experience points for the big guns. still you're saying she got diamond moose and elk? you can't score diamond on elks since like a little over 3 months. you can't score diamond with too small guns on those animal class 8 and 9 animals either. last but not least you got your caribou from medved. i guess your wife doesn't exist.

THE HUNTER DD33 Doing Ok. Check the steam feed you can see everything I’ve shot lately worth taking a picture of. Hunted Vurhonga the other day and got a diamond Side-striped jackal. That was awesome for sure. Along with a lvl 4 female diamond gemsbok and some rare’s and some “almost’s” from Layton.
With this new update I lost all but 2 of my trophies in my lodge. What do I do??? I play on Xbox

Hey DD, let's say I know where whitetail or blacktail drink zones are, and I want to find their sleep or feed zones. Where would I go to find them? Whenever I try to follow the tracks after a zone ends the track seems to go on forever.
They usually rest in the same spots they eat at but maybe 50-100yds deeper into the woods 🙌🏼
@@TheHunterDD33 Ok Thanks! I've been trying to get more zones for whitetail because even when it's their drinking time there's rarely any herds near the water so I try to find other zones. I will try this the next time I hunt whitetail!
Just got a diamond whitetail with the muzzleloader, a long shot, too (it was a level 2 one point above diamond)
My first diamond I seen was a 291 whitetail and I hit spine because I messed up the range
