The Great One Mule Deer would be awesome to see, and there's a whole bunch of other animals in the game that would benefit from the Great One treatment (Blacktail Deer, Roe Deer, European Bison, Coyote, Red Fox, Roosevelt Elk & Rocky Mountain Elk, etc.).
You know what would also be awesome to see? A brand-new reserve with giant animals that would dominate everything currently in the game (a Nepal or India reserve with Asian Elephants, Indian Rhinoceroses, Gaur, Bengal Tigers, etc. Or a brand-new Africa reserve with African Bush Elephants, White or Black Rhinoceroses, Hippopotamuses, Giraffes, Nile Crocodiles, etc.). Who here wants to see either one of those reserves and animals?

PLEASE COTW RELEASE THIS. It could be in the same update as the new map but doesn’t have to relate exactly to the new map. We could have an Asia map and still get a separate great one Mule deer added. I’ve watched games release and not sure even a month after start releasing maps and dlcs in the time they have taken to make this map. I’m hoping that it’s worth the wait because that would be amazing and they should also reset all animals and make my maps healthy again🤣. I love your idea crow!!!

If i had to guess based on routine alone, i'd say the next great one would likely be a predator species from hirsh. currently there are 3 on layton, two antlered species and a predator, and two antlered off of hirsh, seems they want to stick to base game maps first, and a third from hirsh would make the two base game maps even. the only actual predator species on her is the red fox tho, unless you would count wild boar, technically they will eat meat but i don't think they're actually labeled as predators they're more scavengers ( i feel like it would make a better great one personally tho given it has tusks but seems less likely with the pattern )
IF they are following a pattern, Red fox would be the likely assumption. There are soooooooooooooooooo many fur variations they could make for it as well, even if most of them are only ones you'd get from human intervention/line breeding ( such as " silver" melanistic foxes ) would still make for a beautiful trophy. Personally, i think i would really like it but that's just me P:
