I really love this guy. He doesn't just go "meh it's so unrealistic", he knows it's a game, but he tells you about real life situations relating to it, how they attempt to handle it and also the consequences.
He's great especially because he often plays the game afterwards lol

I mean, we did around 180 updates ago. We didn’t even have grenades at the start.
PD2 was the wrong choice for this. Green Bridge or the original bank heist from PD: The Heist would have made for a more interesting commentary from this officer.
Paradoxically these updates is one of the reasons I stopped playing. I feel like everything good came from under the wing of David Goldfarb (he also worked on Battlefield 3) and incidentally after he left we started getting shovels as melee weapons and other ridiculous stuff (if only I knew how bad it would get in the future, lmaoo).
There is also the point that the Payday Gang has international suppliers like Locke and as such have access to military grade weapons.

The fact that the cops don’t negotiate and send thousands of officers to their deaths without hesitation is funny.
There is some "negotiating" happening or at least thats what Bain says during a hostage trade

Bain is typically the one who gets the intel on what's there, and figures out mischievous plans to secure what the gang needs. The other contractors typically give Bain what's going on and intel on what's happening. The exception to this is Vlad and Hector; the former isn't good at giving out intel, and the latter fakes the intel so the gang can be caught.

All I can say is that I can't wait to see this guy's reaction to converting cops. No joke, there are skills that let you convert low tier enemies you have held hostage. Yes, you can persuade a heavy swat team member to kill the guys he was just fighting with. Either the onboarding process in this world is horrible or the skills literally make you magic.
There's history on that. Used to be 'they' strapped a bomb to you: "Serve us or blow up. Your choice.". Got removed.
Considering there's apparently heavy political corruption in the world of Payday and everything that happened in the second game, could be both.
It’s implied that cops on Payday are actually privately produced clones. I’m serious. There’s a certain stock you can read on one of those market panels you see with all the different rates and names, and one of them is called “Clone-A-Cop LLC”.

Also payday had a mobile game, crime war where you could play as the law enforcement team but it got closed sadly
Well, once those glasses are put on, you also whip a firearm so it's not the glasses that's the issue here.

@@geek_x4565 It'd have to be much more asynchronous to fit the bill. Police players would have to be relatively weak but respawn as they like, and the robbers would have to be more powerful individually but liable to run out of downs before they're apprehended.

In the first Payday game "Payday: The Heist" it's more realistic. Less guns and more challenging
True. In payday: the heist a bulldozer can take you down with 4 shots maximum in overkill. Cloackers come in groups and don't have a cool down after each kick. There's just a few weapons to choose.
It easily could be harder than payday 2 in some cases. Oh, and by the way, there's no inspire.

Meh. I mean yeah I guess, but the whole nature of the first payday makes the game itself hard. Movements are way slower, there are no dodge build or even the concept of a build. So there isn't an specific thing to do to make the game easier, like in payday 2, where you can pick skills and weaponary for a probable easier gameplay.

Some notes from a Payday 2 player to Chris (just for future reference if he does it again)
The shotgun he is using has 7 rounds in it but the reload time on it is very quick allowing him to have shot that many rounds within a short time span
The reason there is a lot of guards in the bank is mainly for game balance as the heister(s) in stealth would easily go through them if there was less than 5 guards
The reason why the barrel of the mini gun doesn't heat up is again due to game balance as its ammo drains very quickly and if you don't have a reliable secondary you're fucked
The canonical reason why the big good guy (Bulldozer) uses bomb squad gear is for maximum protection as they are called in only when shit hits the fan and the normal swat teams can't detain or kill the robbers or if the Payday gang robs anything really.
The Payday gang within the Payday universe are some of the most dangerous and successful criminals in the history of the US (again in their universe) even robbing things that were thought to be impossible to rob (such as the White House) and they became so infamous that an entire new division of the police force was created to combat them (with little success)

Correction: a mini-gun won't overheat,because these type of rotary gatling machineguns are specifically designed to not overheat,having multiple barrels that rotate and cool off unlike a normal machinegun.
The problem with a mini-gun is: it weights literally a ton with it's electric motor that rotates the barrels,the battery that powers said motor and on top of that the ammo-belt. Not to mention,the recoil...
He clearly wasn't talking about the heat. He was talking about the recoil being uncontrollable. Whoever did the graphics misunderstood what he was talking about.

They have the second highest damage and highest DPS of any common police unit in the game, since their guns do like 110 damage and they fire it as fast as a regular pistol.

9:30 the Payday gang is most definitely a high end crew and tight lipped with plenty of planning and contacts.
We all know what happened to the last guy that betrayed the payday crew.
Chris said it’d be an interesting challenge for the heisters to only have the weaponry that would realistically available to them, and I entirely agree with that. I’ve beaten the biggest heists many a time with an M16A1 and a Colt M1911A2 and I have to say it adds in a ton more challenge and fun to the game, although it is fun to go with the old Vulcan Minigun and RPG-7 combo every once in a while.

That game had the potential to be a great pve experience, but instead they focus on pvp for no reason.
It's sadly shaping out to be a disappointment. They screwed over the guy who had experience with SWAT 4 mods and have shifted their focus to pvp for some goddamn reason (some say for the sake of a publisher or investor) and even released a shitty alpha. They've delayed the release since then.
I wonder how this guy would react to a Cloaker or Captain Winters and his shield phalanx.

Most criminals won't even bother with suppressors. To a criminal, concealability is important. _Silence isn't._ A criminal wants to have a gun that can stay hidden until used. Making your pistol 6 to 12 inches (15 to 30 cm) longer defeats that purpose. Have you ever tried to walk with a foot and a half long stick in your pants? (Guys, quit your giggling. Unless your name is Jonah Falcon, it ain't that long and you know it.) On top of that, suppressors heat up extremely quickly, and criminals usually don't carry holsters. A criminal plans on running away before cops show up. It doesn’t matter whether anyone heard the shot. Lots of times, a criminal plans on not even firing any shots. The best robbery is one where he flashed a gun, got the money, nobody died, and no shots were fired. Guns are often used simply as means to force compliance through the threat of force. A suppressor isn’t required for that. Also, silencers are _not_ as effective as they are in the movies. For example, someone actually designed a suppressor that fits on an AK-47. Instead of being 180 dB (as loud as a jet engine), it was "only" 130 dB (as loud as a _jackhammer._ ) I guarantee you, Cop Shot would still pick it up. If you're planning to murder someone, there are much quieter ways of doing the deed.

Have Chris react to players in an actual RP server in FiveM. Wanna see him break down shootings, chases, stand offs, that sorta of thing and see how players who are interreacting with one another, actually do compared to real life scenarios. There are a ton of great RP servers out there and many of these players record and post their videos, get a complication of those then have him react to them.

Ever play no mercy? While the negotiator doesn’t come in the army would actually bomb the hospital near the end of the heist. It’s pretty cool and I totally recommend it

This videos great, the guy loves the videogame, he gives expert advice on the weaponry and outfits and he even talks about real world situations that relate to whats happening in some way. 10/10 vid. would watch again for the lols And You should def show the dude the other INSANE options of weapons in this game.
We definitely need more of this guy, he brings the love we need to the police. He is relatable, informative and seems like the kind of guy that would let you off on a warning more often than you'd think. Not all police are angry and not all police are rude, keep being you man, you're one of my favs for these videos. You and the spec ops guys are the main instant watch commentators for me personally.

i dont think anyone thinks all cops are rude, angry or, for the bit everyone is thinking, racists. the complaint is that good cops dont appear to speak up enough against bad cops, and that causes people to distrust them, good guys gotta step up or they aint good.. thats the complaint.
