I live in an RV, that is a normal RV, they have much, much nicer RVs
I know she does this for a living, but every time she showcases helping friends out I just notice she seems like such a good friend to have, someone who will come out and help out when things are really overwhelming. I could really use that. (and yeah, i'd totally watch the bedroom clean up)

Judi, it’s a journey for sure! I divorced a few years ago, myself, and I bought my first townhome as a single woman, 3 years ago. I’m still purging, and organizing everything! It’s an ongoing process for me. Just put one foot in front of the other every day, and you’ll get there, as long as you keep going forward. You’ve got this! ❤️
I live in a small house so I have been watching RV organization videos for a while. In fact, I love watching the full time RVers. Not sure how much my husband and I would enjoy that lifestyle but I do admire the families who are out there enjoying this beautiful country. Love the video.

I lived in an rv for 3 years. 2 most important things i learned about organizing- daily use things need to be front and center, and dollar tree baskets are best to use the deep cupboard space so things don’t get lost in the back. Its a great, freeing lifestyle that shows you don’t need as much stuff as you think you do!
I live full time with my family of 4 and a small doggie. At times things get a little tight but we have all came to appreciate life way more than we ever did before.

Oh my gosh, Catherine!! I'm sitting here in the same exact travel trailer struggling to organize everything and make it feel like home. Hubby and I followed our daughters and three grandbabies to a new state. We sold everything we own and bought the RV this past March. We we definitely researched this lifestyle the last two years. But now that we live in it I'm surfing TH-cam looking for smart organization in small spaces. I have used many of your tips in my life over the last year or two I'm so grateful for you. When I came across the video this morning of you standing in my floor plan I knew it was Gods work. I can't wait to see what you do with the bunk room. We bought this floor plan for our grandchildren and I want to make sure I can create something magical for them.

I agree. I need some of those flex baskets for our bread. Ill have to c what to use in lower kitchen cabinet. Bcz of door hardware and cabinet size, I can't use a pull out, which would be best. So, maybe a tote I can slide in and out??

My 11 yr old Granddaughter’s Dad moved them into a 45’ RV full time. Along with her 3 yr old Sister the 3 are living a great life parked on his family’s 5 acres. No more working 3 jobs to afford a house or even Apt. He remodeled the bunk area so both girls have their own loft. I now gift to her thoughtfully knowing how organized they are. I would love to have one myself to retire in! Dollar Tree is a perfect fit for Tiny home living!

I’ve always thought those locker bins should have a companion bin that’s narrow on the top and wider on the bottom to squeeze every inch of space between the bins. I enjoy learning at least one new thing from each of your videos!

I currently live in an rv - a situation that became extended to 6 years when my young, police officer husband suddenly & unexpectedly died.
finally, I am building a very little house; only 700 sq ft!
I wish & dream Katherine would come & help me get everything organized. that is the way I like to live, and used to live, but everything ... detonated.

As a long time camper (I've been camping since I was 9 months old, and I'm 66 yrs old) putting felt between pots/pans glass items, will help IF you are someone that has issues with noises when in a motorhome that is traveling down the road. I did this for my mom & dad when they purchased their first new Motorhome, and it really helped my anxiety level when riding in the motor home with the family!!! (This might not be a big thing to many people but noises like that drive me bonkers!)

Also, here's a suggestion for your friend. A crockpot in while traveling is a great friend. I have had a Crock-Pot with a locking lid i set in the sink and it cooks our dinners while traveling down the road. Crock Pots are great for meals when homeschooling the kids too. Simple easy meals are the key when traveling and of course, a Tripod over the fire with a cast iron pot is a great way to cook outdoors OR using Aluminum Foil to wrap up :
Easy Foil Wrapped Meal:
Hamburger Paittie (or chicken breast)
cut-up small potatoes (peeled)
Sliced Onion
Carrots
Wrap in Tinfoil and place over fire grate above campfire. Cook for 90 minutes. ( I usually cook the veggies in the microwave for a few minutes so that it helps with shorter cooking time.

I have a 70 year old apartment with very little cabinet space, so this will help me! Two drawers, two doors of storage above the sink, and two small ones, one above the stove and one above the refrigerator. Decluttering and giving to my kids!

Idk if you understand how much traffic this video may get. Organizing RV’s is a hot topic and a very detailed video on decluttering choices of what to keep/part with would also be a great , even if it’s longer than your normal videos. Also I’m thinking it looked like there was a lot of wasted space, that in some cupboards it needed an additional shelf, 🤷🏻♀️ the ability to keep only essentials is definitely needed but being able to keep just a few more items is most always welcome. I’m sure your friend appreciated all the help, it’s a lot of work!

Love the organization, but her kitchen is hardly a "small space"! Its seriously lots larger than what I have in my home! She also has way more cabinet and drawer space! Nice job 👏 and I'll be incorporating as much of that as I can in my home!

As an RV owner I would never put the shelf liner on the counter and expect my wine bottles not to move when driving! You’re gonna be left with a huge mess if doing so! Sorry but that’s the only time I’ve seen you give bad advice.

I would love to see any RV organizing you can do. The bathroom would be a great place to tackle as it is so small but you still need the same things as at home.

We did what they did... we sold our home and bought an RV. This is invaluable information and would love to see every aspect of the RV. We are thinking of using Dollar Tree baskets with command hooks on the walls for the kids... but other than that, I’m stumped! And I have to constantly think of weight in the RV. If there is anyone that can get me on the right track, it’s you, Kathryn!
That is a gorgeous motor home! I love drawers in a kitchen. I despise cabinets that I have to squat/bend/dig to get to the back. Can’t wait until I can re-do my kitchen and install lots of drawers.

The ending is classic...where you're explaining to the kids, about your You Tube job. You can see their eyes widen when it clicks for them.
I would love to see the kids get organized, too. One thing I do in our trailer is use the nonslip shelf liner in between glass dishes such as mugs or Pyrex. I also use small tension rods (from Walmart) in the refrigerator to keep everything on the shelves while traveling.
Those are really great tips & I don't even own an rv! I can definitely use in my home without wheels, haha! Tfs

Been doing fulltime rv life now for 13 yrs.
I had stuff in here and just dealt with it. Last yr did a major declutter and most areas have been ok, others I still struggle with and keep at it.
So happy they are doing this. Have fun out on the road.
Please do the whole rv!!! And if you can, try to organize a small camper and give us ideas for even smaller places, that would be great! I have a new small camper trailer. It is tiny and barely any store. I need to be creative. I need ideas! You’re usually my go to person to find inexpensive organisation ideas!
