I feel like it’s easier to organize newer homes. They have more open concepts and bigger closets. I’d love some videos about organizing older homes.

Same!! My house is 80 years old with very little storage.
This is my issue with a house built in the 1950s. I finally just bought a stand alone pantry to help.
I’m glad I’m not alone. Plus most homes today are painted white or gray tones inside, which makes things look neater.

Aww, baby Owen! 💙💙💙 I am a fellow band geek too. I played percussion. I'm always looking to declutter, especially since I live in a small house. It feels good to get rid of stuff that I don't need and be able to help someone else out.

I’m definitely a lady bug, now when I organise I always keep that in mind .. my organisation is now perfect for me 🙌 .. my daughter is a butterfly, she now does all her organising to suit a butterfly lol and she has even worked out what organising bugs her kids are and has organised their rooms accordingly, a real game changer 😀👏
I have definitely adopted the less is more concept and the done is better than perfect moto's for my life I went from enough clothes for 6 or 7 people to enough for 2 and still working on it lol I also decluttered Dishes and several other things mainly because of these videos

I was looking for a solution to my wraps and when you showed the can organizer I thought it was what I needed, but in the same section I found a wrap organizer. I struggle a lot because I don't always know the names of things, I didn't know they were called wraps. I am not American and I appreciate your videos that more than learn how to organize I learn the names of everything involved. Thank you so much.

I’m a little wild and broken, Kathryn. It’s nice to have someone like you demonstrate easy and affordable solutions to things that make so many Americans unhappy (excessive consumerism, unrealistic financial expectations). Your little corner of TH-cam is helping me deal with some of the hoarder tendencies I got from my mom. My mom
was the first person in her family to graduate from high school and go to college (on scholarship). She grew up in extreme Third World poverty and hates to throw anything away that she thinks is still usable. (My beautiful mom still has some of her clothes from the ‘80s, and they fit her! She’s 73.)
My house is full of stuff that I have accumulated over the last 38 years of my life, and your very kind and rational videos are helping me learn to let go of things that I don’t need physically in my space anymore. Thank you for all that you do!

My 2 favorite organizing dinosaurs!
I have plenty of time but limited mobility. My home is set up for people who are not physically challenged. I've changed some systems, but I need more ideas about how to handle clothing, paper & craft supplies. If you know of someone who is familiar with organizing for the handicapped, I'd appreciate hearing about them. Kathryn, as always your video is a bright and shining light of encouragement. I'm 65 years old... lots of weird health challenges I'm trying to overcome. You and Cass are the first TH-cam for organization that I started to watch eons ago. It's been awesome to watch you 2 grow and kids change. I'm still a mess. Hubby contributes, overboard,at Christmas, birthday to my crafting business. I'm always playing let's shuffle here or there to accommodate. I'm still learning in my late age, lol...some thing always comes up.

What do you do when you need to declutter and you do have to think about it?? I just blank out and find a good book to read and tune out the clutter.
I start with the easiest thing possible. Pens, pencils, paper clutter… I get a jump start to make the harder stuff easier once I’m in the groove. ❤️

I've been organizing my home ssssllllloooooowwwwwllllyyyy over the past two years and have FINALLY organized every square inch, including the attic and shed!
