Smaller youtubers review is the best. Their experience is genuine because they don't get used by companies sending freebies for them to review. The problem is they don't appear on your youtube front page
To my knowledge, VERY small creators can be sent a product for review. They just have to send it back after, and I don't know what their actual reward will be. That being said, this is a great and seemingly honest review.
@Johnnyvtg I would say you're essentially correct, except that brands will typically not engage at all with smaller creators as they might not deem it "worthy of their time". That said, you can expect disclosures to be honest in at least whether they were sponsored or not for review (this is a legal requirement). The XREAL glasses (and Beam coming soon) were not paid for, given, provided, or even acknowledged by the company in this channel's case. That said, thanks for your seemingly honest comment -- I'm kidding here, thanks for your two cents!
Enjoyed the video. I also liked the added "NOBODY" sponsor. I just bought the Viture and trying to decide if I want to try the Xreal or Rokid next. Thanks again.
I ordered these the day of the Apple Vision Pro demo… I started searching for alternatives. I found XReal for the headset and the Mudra Band for pretty much the same gestures displayed with the AVP. When I researched Xreal I knew that the Beam would be the thing that sold me on the product. Based on the reviews back then it seemed to solve the limitations of the glasses. I was impatient and ordered the glasses outside of the Beam bundle package (for less than $500). I figured if I didn’t like the headset at all I’d just return it. I was surprised, because even with its limitations (a screen that follows you all around) it was still a pretty cool concept. My use case has been using it to augment my phone the same way my AirPods Pro’s do. It also made Apple Gaming and Mobile gaming in general finally make sense to me. First thing I did was download Streets of Rage IV and get a controller. These are 100% an entry level alternative to the Apple Vision Pro for me. My main thing was having a giant screen that I could take with me EVERYWHERE I went. Problem solved. At less than $500 for the Glasses and Beam vs $3499. I am more than willing to consider purchasing a new one of these as the company grows the product. They’ve also been making strides via Firmware updates. The latest is a 120hz update to the glasses. What’ll sink or swim this product is the Beam though, that’s where the rubber meets the road.
Thank you for your incredibly detailed comment about your experience. I didn't know about the Mudra Band, Thanks for that information as well! I definitely intend to do another review (of the Beam) when I get it. Please do stick around and feel free to comment or suggest things you'd like to see!
@@gamers-generation Thanks man. I guess I’m a frustrated Apple customer who refuses to pay $3499 for the AVP. I really think they’re leaving good money on the table by not introducing an affordable product like this to the masses. Folks spend over or under $1000 every year Apple innovates the iPhone. I won’t be shelling out $3499 every time Apple makes a update to the vision pro. At $3499, I start making different decisions with money.
Hey just found your channel today. I love the format: short, sweet, and right to the point. I ended up watching reviews of things that I don’t even want buy. Keep it up.
As a long time user of the xReal Air's myself, I can honestly say its one of the best tech purchases Ive made in a long time, and like many others have said, yes, is one of the best accessories for my Steam Deck, with a few caveats (simultaneous charging and usage being one of them....use the Red Dragon adapter). That said, they are about to get a lot more usefull and usable once I get my hands on the Beam! 3-DOF in your pocket on ANY device?! Yes please! Some added info, There also seems to be another Windows based solution for XR called GingerXR. I havent tried it yet, but Ive see a few videos with it running successfully. Not sure all the caveats to this approach either. Hopefully Nebula Windows will be a smooth experience once it finally launches...whenever that is. Nebula App is pretty much dead to me.
Thanks for your detailed comment! I have tired GingerXR (a few months ago) and... unfortunately that was both cumbersome and didn't work so well either... Glad you're enjoying the Airs though and with the RedMagic Gaming Dock too! That thing's stock has just gone up in value!

You don't know me, but I highly advise you read this thoroughly and in its entirety. You are to cease any and all communication with xreal, effective immediately. You are not to contact them for any reason whatsoever. You are not to answer their calls, texts, etc. Is that understood?
It is not in your best interest to ignore me. I have a very bad temper and you do not want to see it get away from me. You will send me some sort of confirmation that you are receiving my messages and that you will comply fully.
I have a Tor browser, plenty of disposable income, and all the free time in the world, kiddo. Do not test me, it is remarkably easy to make someone disappear. This is your last chance to respond before you end up in a red room.
Never let it be said that I am not fair. You had your chance, kiddo, but you've chosen to ignore all of my generous warnings, and you'll soon learn the lengths I'm willing to go for xreal.
Expect company, fuckboy
I know right, why would anyone ever buy anything for any amount of money???
Rokid is goofie looking, just ugly glasses in my opinion. Imagine rokid on your face, you will instantly look goofie, hahaha
Yeah... I can understand why someone would be put off by them... not exactly the most "covert" of styles... and I'm trying to be nice. Thanks for the comment!
Reviewers should know everything about the device and be truthful. I feel like one bix is checked.
While I appreciate the comment, would you care to elaborate?
