Good and realistic information. The expenses part is good for a single person. The gist is if you are earning a decent salary in India, it is not economically worth to migrate to UK. Any earning less than 30 K in UK is a struggle. For families with small kids it will be a pain as one of the partner can only do part time jobs and the expenses will be very high.

30k is ok north of and outside of london. You'll never buy a house in London on less than 6 figures now, or south of London. So unless you're a banker or high flying lawyer, move out of London if you want a better quality of life.
For a long time I did fine on less than 30k as a single guy. I paid a mortgage on a 2 bedroom house and ran 2 cars with that. Not so easy now though with prices of everything going through the roof since covid and Ukraine. I moved jobs to one paying about 35k, then to almost 50k. That certainly took a lot of money worries away for now.
@@BlatentlyFakeName How would you say a 35-40k range salary for a 25-26 year old single guy. I mean how good is that in terms of Purchasing power? Is it sufficient to barely pay expenses or sufficient to live a comfortable life?

I am right now in UK from past 3 months pursuing masters in business management and have done bachelors of automotive engineering and with 8 years experience in auto sector and completely not able to figure out what the outcome would be after masters as from past 3 months haven't landed a part time job also, so after masters how it can be managed to get COS and I am married with 2 kids, so after studies also I can't bring my family on dependent visa. Kindly suggest what can be done in this situation

I disagree. I'm living here and the 500 pounds of monthly expenses is absurd, it's nowhere near that if you manage to cook for yourself and walk to places instead of being a brat and getting uber like you did back in India for going anywhere.
You have to spend some time here and learn how things are done, where you can get groceries for cheaper instead of going to the expensive stores! My personal expenditure is nowhere near 500 pounds and I am living quite comfortably, I go out every other week with my friends for a dinner and I enjoy my time here.

I think you haven't considered tax deduction appropriately. In addition to 20 percent tax till 49k employees are also charged a 12% NI tax. So overall tax deductions are 32 percent rather than 20%
Hey! Tax on all salaries are calculated using UK government tax calculator. I didn't do the calculation mysef. So it includes NI deduction as well :)
@@Dream_UK Thats the grey area which government dosent highlights because it looks to much tax. They just mention 20 percent tax. But when you see your salary slip its 20 + 12=32. This info is as per my last two organizations pay slip. Have a look on your pay slip and things will be clear 😊

When I did my masters it was for 25,600 pounds. Now the fee has gone up
How is the in hand salary is 38k after tax if you have 50k annual salary, There is 20% tax on 50k salary so if you do the math it will be around 42.5k annually please explain?

Hey, why don't you check the average salary of the roles you will be eligible for after the completion of your masters. Glassdoor and Indeed offer such salary calculators. You will be able to calculate your ROI based on that.
