I LOVE a good highlighter, but I do not want a metallic, glittery, texture-enhancing nightmare! I prefer a luminous, dewy and more understated glow and I am often asked for my recommendations. So here they are!

I am 38 and my skin is pretty "normal" with no dryness or particular oily areas. I do have early signs of aging like fine lines/texture, as well as some sun damage and REDNESS!
I don't use fake tan, but I get very tan naturally in the summer as I have an olive undertone so my face is often a LOT lighter than my body, because I keep my face very well protected to keep my melasma under control and signs of aging at bay!

Omg I’m usually a drugstore or high end girlie who almost never buys luxury- However- a Sephora employee recommended the YSL all-over-glow and the swatch sold me- OMG it’s my most favorite for beauty skin I love it so so much and it will probably last ages I’ve had it for 2 years and it’s still going strong. I do hope it comes back eventually 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽

These type of highlights have been my favorite for the past couple of years. That ND highlighter has become my most reached for. I love it. I really hope PMG comes out with more highlighters like the divine rose with more shades. It’s the type of highlighter I’m always looking for

The ND made me think of Mel. It is absolutely stunning even on my older skin. The reformulated Cle de Peau are stunning. Pricey but beautiful!

One of my favorite highlighters is the Anastasia Beverly Hills stick highlighter. Is like the most soft , creamy stick and looks like tiny diamonds on your skin without being glitter. Incredible!

Sephora had little baby Westman Atelier highlights and I picked up Nectar. I love it. So easy to play with and blend!🥰
Love the LE one. And thank you for not pissing on products and acknowledge how, according to the way you apply or know how to apply things, some work better than others. I dislike all those beauty commenters who say a product is bad when, in reality, they just got *no* clue about how some things apply.

The limited edition Chanel highlighter is gorgeous. I'm so happy i got it before it was gone. I love nearly all of CT highlighters i just think they are fantastic. I still have and love the Becca highlighters. Hourglass highlighter is gorgeous. One of my absolute favs is the Wayne Goss highlighter that is in the coral rose due, omg that highlighter is amazing, it's so creamy and melts into the skin, it's been sold out like forever, i wish he would bring it out as a single

Truly awesome video. I only differ with you in that I prefer the new PML highlighters over the one you like best. I decluttered it. But you made me reach into my stash and pull out some of the oldies but goodies. I don’t think I need another highlighter, blush, or bronzer for the rest of my life!
Love the PML highlighters you mentioned. I recently picked up the Chantecaille Lotus highlighter and it is absolutely beautiful!! It is so finely milled and creates the most subtle, dewy look. I wasn’t thrilled at the price point, but it is different from anything else in my collection.
It's SO gorgeous but so many are receiving their products broken from this collection!
I’m happy i bought the Chanel highlighter in both shade’s!! I have a medium Mediterranean skin , they are gorgeous on my skin , my face my shoulders, doesn’t emphasize any texture, they will last me forever since the amount of product is huge !!

The rare beauty liquid highlighter is lovely for glitter free glow. I am dying to try the lightest powder one, but it has been sold out for ages
I've just got the makeup by mario highlighter in pearl, virtually identical to Natash Denona All over glow in light, and very similar to Charlotte Tilbury in moonlit glow (CT has slightly whiter tones). Both are lovely
I have the Makeup by Mario one, too, and really like it. Glad to know how it compares to the Natasha Denona. 😊

I bought one of the older versions of the Cle de Peau Luminizers in Almond and it’s my new Holy Grail highlight. I like it better than Reve de Camellia, If you can imagine that. I think some of the newer Cle de Peau Luminizers are similar to the older version and some are quite glittery - for instance the latest Christmas release one is rather glittery but Shooting Stars is not meant to be. I do really love CT spotlight as well and the Wayne Goss Blush Duos - Sweet Wildflower was my favorite or for a more icy highlight version Blush Peony is beautiful also.

With so many new highlighters like Rare Beauty, CT, Natasha Denona etc. I wonder if 2023 will be a year of highlighters. I only have the Fenty ones and ones in palettes like in the Natasha Denona glam face palette and too faced face palette, but want to try one of these as well. The Pat MG one looks like the most appealing to me, but I also want to get a rare beauty one too
Loved this! So addicted to highlighters! Remember when they did not exist? How did we live? (although I have seen some 60's photos of Audrey Hepburn and I swear she is wearing Highlighter.) My personal favorite is Nars Capri. Also love the CT Spotlight and the Chanel Reve!
I like the drew barrymore one, its a liquid. Im not wild about the loreal powder one i have now, so i wanna give these a go. My dry skin needs highlighters to look good!

I received the CT glow something architect highlighter (sorry the name is too long) and I found that there were fine glitter particles that ended up scattered all over my face by the end of the day. Wondering if anyone else had the same experience?
This! This is why I’ve been waiting! And I’ve been so frustrated because most reviewers don’t show it ON the face (spread out vs swatches) in outside light.
I’ve been burned before, now I always check ingredients and if I see mica or synthetic flourphlogopite, I just avoid.

Becca's "Opal" used to be my favorite, but Wet n Wild Megaglo highlighters are just as nice, if not, better. So glad I found a cheaper alternative

I want as subtle as subtlety can get in a highlighter. I don't want one that you can see from Mars (slight exaggeration but you get my drift). CT's Hollywood Flawless works well but the Hourglass Luminous Light is THE best for me.
Did you try the CT holiday palettes? The top right shade in the light-medium palette reminds me a lot of Hourglass Luminous Light.
Great video! I do not like glitter in my face. Which in your collection do you find the most similar to the chanel camellia highlighter? From the swatches it looks like possibly the Natasha denona but it's hard to tell. 💜
The most used highlighter product I have is Morganite by Auric. I am very fair, uncooked chicken as Thersaisdead would say. You can mix it with your foundation or pop it on your cheek bones x

Thank u for this video! Im 52 yo with fine texture and pores. Its so challenge to find formulas that have the most subtle of sheen for all makeup (foundation, blush, eyeshadow, etc). I have combo oily skin and do not need to add any more glow nor do i want to layer heavy primers and setting powders. What are your thoughts on victoria beckham highlighter stick?

It says 18 months. I got mine about a year and a half ago and it still performs and smells the same
That's a good point to consider, especially because it's a "clean" product with less preservatives.
What did you think if the Chanel Metal Peach highlighter?
CT HFF is my favorite! I also really like about-face liquid highlighter. Not glittery at all

Natasha Denona All Over Glow is discontinued. You can only get the deepest shade in a few places... 💔
You can get the medium and deep shades on beautylish. Light may come back in stock 🤷🏻♀️

I'M SO DISAPPOINTED in my Clinique highlighter .... and don't beat me up over it, but I just got the Dior 4 highlighter palette and I can't take it back, or I def would. It's so full of glitter and not flattering. I'm going to use it as eyeshadow but I don't recommend it as highlighter.
