My mother's an awful individual who has abandoned my family when we needed her the most, I don't have any friends either so I don't have anyone to comfort me
Everytime I'd feel lonely I'd watch her videos where her calm and soothing voice and her kind words made me feel home and made me find the motherly figure I needed in her
Everytime she talks about different interesting things:from tea to crystals to how her year was, and I can say that I never get bored
She always talks in such a gentle and informal manner, making me feel part of her life (as weird as it sounds--)
So thank you Maria, we love you so much and we hope you're going to feel better soon :) ♡
Since watching Maria's videos, not only has my sleep improved, but my mood, my mental state. I watch her videos throughout the day when I have anxiety or am upset. When she confided to us about her struggles my heart broke for her, but my respect for her skyrocketed, because kt takes a lot to confront yourself and face your problems, but to be able to tell thousands of people, takes guts. Shes done such a phenomenal job at being a human being, she does so so much for everyone and I just hope she know absolutely none of it is taken for granted. We love you SO much Maria! 💜🧡

I think it's important for her to know she can take time off for herself. Everyone that has been part of her fan base for the last 5 years will understand she has her own life behind the camera and now has a family of her own. So if she feels like taking 2 weeks, 8 months, or 2 years off she should absolutely do that without the guilty feeling.
I hope she's doing ok, we only see her through videos she edits, so no one really knows what else is going on with her and that she also needs time for herself.

Gloria A no, she said she’s blind. But you don’t need to see to type stuff, phones have dictation mechanisms where you say what you want to type and the phone writes it down for you.

I don’t want to slam her name or anything, but I honestly just didn’t think she was that great or anywhere near a lot of other artists when in comes to professionalism and quality. And then there was that thing a year or two ago where her psycho ex hacked her account and she was just like “ah yeah I forgive him and still love him” idk it was all just very weird.

There's just something about Maria's voice that is super calming and relaxing. She starts talking and I get tingles immediately. And as others have said as well, there's such a motherly quality about her that makes me feel like a kid again going to my mom for comfort through the tough times, it's very soothing.

Ya never know, i Hated college thought i wanted to go but quitting was the best thing ive done, lead me to my real purpose
Here in my country we spend 24 hours or so in a funeral
When my uncle died I was so overwhelmed with my emotions that I found hard to express them
Attending people serving coffee helped me during the time friends and coworkers came to show condolences
But at midnight being alone with just my mom and I
I just couldn't bare the anxiety and the grief I was unable to express
My chest and stomach hurted like hell
So I grabbed my phone and lay on a couch, put one of Maria's videos and all the pain started to fade away while slowly falling asleep
Maria saved me that night
The night I was left alone to suffer at the moments I was being strong for my mom
And swallowing my emotions at the point that I couldn't take them out of my chest
I can't be grateful enough with you Maria you where there when no one else was.

I wasn't able to attend my grandfather's funeral. I was in another city and not in age to travel alone. We bought a ticket anyways, we tried to find someone to claim to be responsible for me as an adult, but no one agreed, I had to stay. I tried to hide everything that night because I knew my family friends (who I was with) have done everything they were able to and more, and I didn't want to make them more trouble. I still remember how my grandma called me and I immediately started talking about my hamsters, and she didn't even interrupt me till the end, and only after I said her everything I wanted to, she told me he died in the most average yet slightly cracking voice. It was a matter of time, he was incurably ill, but I never thought it will happen so fast, no one thought. We even bought him a very expensive medicine, spending all the money we had in our savings. We though he'll last at least a few months. I wasn't ready for it. I though about how I would've spend more time with him if I knew, I wouldn't stay there, how I wanted to just say goodbye to him. And yet, I knew I can't do anything, and no one can, and so I need to be strong to at least support my family and especially my grandmother. I wasn't able to get out from these thoughts, and I still sometimes think about it all. I feel so at fault. I can't even go to his grave now, because no one can accompany me and going alone there is very dangerous in my country.
Videos like these also help me a lot to escape these thoughts in hard times and just stress out a bit. Shame that I didn't find it earlier on.
Sorry for the long comment, I just felt the need to share.
I hope you're coping with your loss. It can be very hard at times, but stay strong. You're not alone.
There should be an awards show for ASMR. Maria, you would win an award for this!!! Omg this storyline/script, this creative light and color work in conjunction with close up sounds and high quality filming, and then your care, concern, and delicate movements are just EPIC. Your authenticity and heart shine through (quite literally in this video) and I can’t thank you enough for all of your time and labor, your blood/sweat/tears over the last 6 years (is that how long you have been doing this?!?!) and all of your contributions to ASMR and TH-cam. And to think of all of the other ASMRtists you have inspired, this relaxation landscape would NOT look like this without your brave heart and creative soul! Thank you for helping me through countless sleepless nights, for virtually drying my tears, and making me smile when little else could. 😍🥰

I started listening to Maria around when i started high school about 7 or 8 years ago i think, I was in a super bad place and i had a really hard time adjusting and high school ended up being a pretty bad experience but Maria’s videos were such a blessing for me.
Just to know that there was someone so kind and loving out there and that she made these videos that brought so much peace and comfort to people, meant so much. I truly believe that Maria’s videos helped me through so much, and i appreciate that more than anything.

Fun fact (well idk if it's really fun, but a fact nonetheless): Maria said "red is beauty" bc in Ye Olde Russian the word red ("krasny") used to mean "pretty". So the Red Square is actually Pretty Square, and such idioms as "red springtime" or "a red maiden" (for example, Maria herself) are not about the colour, but about loveliness.

I loved the concept. The action of "moving the head" was super tingly for me. I also loved the "realism" of when you took the glowing crystal away, it adjusted from dark to light, and from blurry to in focus, like your eyes were actually adjusting to it. Not sure if it was accidental or intentional, but it was amazing!

I don't listen to her videos anymore cause she does the close whispers just a few seconds and every time she stops doing the close whispers, I am taken out of tingleland, so I feel not relaxed while listeing, all I think is: pleas get closer again so I can get tingles, but she won't....... we need to ask real often, so maybe you can place a comment about this too? Oh and she used to be the only artist I listened to, for years...... so I miss her.....

So throughout these years of my ups and downs,i will always come to her videos to calm me down or at least to make me feel loved. To me,she’s not an asmr artist. She’s more like a big sis to me. A little over a year ago, I discovered Maria's videos while I was lying in bed with the flu and strep. I am chronically ill with sleeping disorders so I was hit hard. I was so depressed. Playing her "Simple Pleasures" video put me at ease so that I could rest and heal. Her videos introduced me to other ASMRtists and now I don't know how I would sleep without these videos. It's even helped with my depression. I'm forever grateful to Maria for showing me this whole other world.
