I love the asmr community comment section, it’s great! But it’s kind of ruined me for other comment sections. I go in and don’t realize how toxic people can be and then I quickly realize that is NOT the place for me!
OMG EXACTLY!.. I have to watch her every night as Im falling to sleep. I can't watch movies (actors giving their political views on their twitter etc) or go on any Internet space without drama politics insults people being triggered or people being offended.. We come here to get away from the drama stress politics pandemic worries & woes. Here we can escape from all that for just a little while & sink into dreamland. Really is like being in another world where you just feel so cared for or even loved by your life long best friend depending on which video.
I don't know if any of you guys have seen her video 'A-day in my life" video on her TH-cam page? OMG.. I don't know how she does it and does it all with style and grace..showing real aspects of her life. Just like us theres good days Bad days you may have an argument with your spouse your toddler may throw a fit. She talks about it she mentions it she doesn't show her personal events like that. She's just like us just super gifted hard working & just such a beautiful soul that helps millions of people all over the world.. It's like having your own personal angel to Tuck you in at night.

I so agree! Most of social media content is so shallow and nothingness. I know going to bed at night with my constant stresses of life knowing Maria will take all the stress away. Without her healing voice and true escapism i would not get to sleep. She gets me through the nights.

My mother would have LOVED you Maria! She suffered from migraines which I remember from my childhood, she would lay on the sofa and I would massage her head and gently brush her hair. I thought it was so boring! But I loved my mother of course, so I didn't mind. Sadly, she passed away 30 years ago, before youtube. I can't help but think how much my mother would have just loved to lay on the sofa and listen to your incredibly gentle, loving voice. I know she would have had relief from migraines and been so relaxed. Also, it would have gotten me out of brushing her hair which I enjoy having done to me but am bored out of my mind doing to anyone else hehe. Thank you so much for your videos!

If some neural connections are not active for a long time, they deteriorate because the brain doesn't waste its resources to keep it alive and uses the same brain cells in that part of the cortex for other functions. This is how you kill bad habits (or lose good ones). At the end, we are what we practice.

maria i have been following you since day one. i stared collecting certain videos on YT before asmr was asmr...they were just videos that made me feel relaxed..made my forehead and head tingle...gave me goosebumps and helped me let go of the stress in my life. my (ex) husband would make fun of me really bad about it...put me down constantly even shame and embarrass me when we had dinner guests over. then a few years later i found your videos. the first was you showing your souvenirs from your last trip to Russia. and then followed a Valentines gift that you had made for your then husband.
