How rad is Peter in his overalls. Dude has such a fun, nerdy, look that it's hard to look at him and NOT smile. dude kills it. I think he's a huge reason for the band blowing up.
Chatted with him inbetween sets when they were opening for Spafford. Dude is the happiest, most energetic guy I have ever met. Not a knock against any other groups or their members, but most have just been on the chill, more reserved side. Pete is the exact opposite and it's awesome. Super grateful, super engaging--awesome to know the fun he looks like he's having on stage translates to off stage.
I totally agree. After becoming obsessed with Goose about a year ago, I went back and listened to as many shows as possible from 17, 18, and earlier 19 and it is clear they came into their own after he joined the band.

I've never seen them in St. Louis. .but I'd love to see them. I listen all the time. From what I gather is not many musical talents like to come to St. Louis. That makes me sad. But I get it if the reason is true.

There's a moment in every Lead The Way they play that makes me tear up. It's such a glorious song.
Might be bold, but Rick is the most talented guitarist I have heard in many years or ever. Speed, tone, never boring.
Check out Ruban Nielson...currently my favorite live see, lead guitar/vocals for Unknown Mortal Orchestra, but I have yet to see Rick and he definitely slays.

Agreed. Rick is the key differentiator with this band. Not only for his sublime guitar playing but his incredible vocals. Dude is pretty much a musical savant.

Yes, they are the best on the scene, the scene however is a absolute joke...it's eaten itself. I love goose s skills, but more important I like rock n roll, phish is rock n roll, moe, Sci, strangefolk...early great stuff...2days scene...horrible, zero creativity, zero attitude, just silver spoon jojo siwa looking/sounding jambands. The word jamband needs to be buried for a while.

When I get off work I come home home and blast goose sounds into my ears. I also let all of my neighbors hear. I also play guitar to it as well and let even further away neighbors hear goose sounds.

Love it! So good! A lot of my friends are liking them too which kinda blows my mind because this is in my wheelhouse so I just figured they wouldn’t get it. Lol. But they say “ Oh, Who's this?” I think Goose has something for everyone which is a rare and precious thing.

This is my first time hearing Indian River, and it's like mid 2000s Umphrey's meets Justin Vernon. This band is so rad.
It's also evident that this band has been in the woodshed for the last six months and it shows.

I love these guys. Excellent, fun, guitar work, with loads of influences. Just a hint of Eric Johnson in some of those pentatonic runs, which add something special to the standard Trey repertoire.

Rosewood might be the best jam I've heard any band do in many years. These guys combine the best parts of phish, umphreys, sts9 and the biscuits without any of the BS. Soaring and peaking for like 16 mins straight.
