I think this is the 6th interview I’ve listened Nancy do for her newest book and every single one just continues to be amazing! I also appreciate so much the respect that Greg has for her, it was so lovely to see
I have of late been impressed with the warrior Jonathan - loyal and brave soldier friend to David . Whatever his end in battle , he comes across as someone who could be relied upon in a crises .
I greatly appreciate this. I just tuned in right as it appears we're coming close to the end so I'm gonna have to go all the way back and listen again. And the timing is only God's perfect timing because apparently I was in need of information such as this having several teenage boys here even in my neighborhood and my son being 15. Praise God for this thank you Stand To Reason!
I've appreciated Prof. Pearcey's work for years. But wow, I had no idea of her personal history. No genuinely regenerate man does that to his family. That is pure evil. Praise God that He has used her pain now to help others and write this important book. I probably should not spend my limited $ , but I am ordering it tonight. Can't wait to read it. I've loved several of her other ones. I am 50+ but I still want to be her when I grow up!
That statistic of people drinking more in the 1830's more than they drink today, is that just raw consumption, or does that factor in the proof of beverage they are drinking and filter ite how much of that was medicinal, often prescribed by a doctor?
STR, been a sub for 25 yrs as well as a supporter. I was somewhat disappointed with this vid. Based on the title, I thought there would be a more pointed context of how the world without the church and within was attacking biblical masculinity. Still enjoyed it, but not quite in step with the title. Keep up the good work.
I disagree with the existence of toxic masculinity especially in the concept of violence. There is no toxic masculinity, it is just masculinity. The better term on what she refers to regarding violence is good and evil. We cannot disjoint the potential of violence to masculinity because violent men keep the peace and order in society. We need violent men to keep the violent criminals in check.
dude, when you are doing an interview with someone, it's not a conversation, stop going 'unh-huh, mmm-hhhh' while she is talking. It interrupts the person, it's distracting, and its really annoying while trying to listen. I'm 10 minutes in and can't continue because of your constant noise.

It was so great to see Nancy and not just hear her. I can't wait for my copy of the book to arrive!

This was incredible. I will probably never forget about the changes from before the Industrial Revolution.
I'm 50+ and I had never realized this information or heard it presented this way.

40:00 I am right now using that data for an encouraging video. The Lord Jesus bless fervent Christian men.
