@Ruff Crawlers RC just price really. A decent brushed motor and esc can have as good modulation and power as a brushless at a much lower cost. You don’t have to complete change your esc to swap brushed motors.
Just ordered one, going to be running it with crawler gears though. Want to gain a bit of top end back. Also running a Hobbywing 1080 ESC for better control and options.

As for the trans specs, the trucks come with "trail gears" and bushings installed. You can purchase "speed" or "crawl" gears or complete transmissions with the gears alread installed. If you get the complete transmissions they come with bearings rather than bushings. Any thoughts on an ETA for these?
Can you do a comparison between the two just as they are but on a 35-40 degree climb...I am in the same park wanting this done but don't want it to die out on a hill climb like the high gears can do on stock motor. I am wanting just a tad more speed on stock gears but same crawling....but noticed high speed gears can't crawl on certain high angles
Question, were the settings the same on both, remember the car has 3 speed settings. And yes, I'm interested in your motor, would be interesti g to see how it preforms with low speed gearing in the tranie, hopefully you'll do a vid on that....ASAP
Got mine today. Got it installed, with bearings and a low gear set. This thing's a beast now.
Does it have more end speed now? I have the crowl gears too and its super slow...

If I'm not mistaken they come with the middle gear set in the transmission. They offer a crawler and high-speed gear sets optional

Would you create a version with cables already soldered in? That’s kinda the one thing preventing me from getting this motor

can the buzzsaw platinum run 3s? I know the regular isn't recommended but I don't know if it's recommended to run 3s on the platinum edition.
you need to have bearings in both transmissions for an equal test.
