I just discovered Scott here and was going to congratulate him but then read that he passed away recently. Well, I'm congratulating him anyway as this is an ace performance! Thanks for the music, Scott.

You're good. Could probably hold your own in the local jazz festival. My guitar teacher whom I always thought of having similar skill sets as Pat Metheny works part time as an office clerk while barely paying his bills. Yes he is more than just good. There is a reason why an insurmountable amount of great guitarists in this world nobody knows about, simply because there is an insurmountable amount of great guitarists in this world.

This guy's got all the chops man. Love the way he moves from thumb to pick. This is the best contemporary guitar trio jazz I have heard for a long long time. I mean decades.

Thank you for all the positive feedback on this. For the Record I gave a copy of this to every Jazz label on planet earth and not one response. Later found out most just through it in the trash .... haha Anyway its nice to have a self produced project that I own in the can .... still holds up 10 years later. I'm not sure if I will ever make it as a Jazz Artist but on this nite a moment was captured that i can live with. thanks again

I like it man. My old man gave some encouraging advice when I was trying break into performing. "Good guitar players are a dime a dozen". I didn't appreciate it at the time but his point was the music business is very tough regardles of how good you are and he was right.

Nice stuff. Scott has a strong, fresh approach. He has lots of interesting ideas and you can see how he pushes himself into challenging and adventurous detours. But he is solidly rooted in the great traditions with great tone and technique. Pat Martino creeps in there a lot.

Unfortunately it is very difficult to make it as a jazz artist these days. People just have no knowledge of the jazz language and don't understand it. If you play a I IV V progression though, you will be famous. It's really a shame that music has been so dumbed down.
