Preview of a forthcoming review of a Hornby Class A2/3. A controversial locomotive both in real life and in model form. Should be an interesting video.
I call it a teaser trailer. Very beautiful-looking steamy. Hope you can find some Thompson LNER coaches to match her. Or if not, BR Maroon Mk. 1s will do nicely.
I'm hoping to shoot the video soon. I have BR Mk1 coaches in maroon. Teak coaches are on my wishlist. Thanks for watching and commenting. Regards Paul.
Hey Paul - controversial??? cor ok - @ 3:14 - I'm with you there about Hay fever - don't you just hate it!!! Every day is a school day - I didn't know about this Paul - thanks for the info!!! 😮🤔🚂🚂🚂
I will do a proper review ASAP. There are differing opinions of this locomotive in both real and in model form. Thanks for being the first to comment. Cheers Paul.
Hi Paul I have 2 of these. Both BR livery. Both had problems straight from the box. One broke its valve gear not even making one circuit( money promptly refunded by Hattons) and another loco sourced elsewhere. That was ok. The 2nd one had pick up problems which I remedied. The dreaded bent chassis was fortunately not present on both locos. Look forward to the video. Cheers
I plan to make a video soon. Thanks for sharing your experience I thought a locomotive with mixed reviews might make an interesting subject. Cheers Paul.

As a boy I used to like Thompson Pacific’s, but all around me didn’t.
What did I know? I like them still at 70.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. My full review of the model will follow soon. Cheers Paul.
For got to add mine was fine
Glad to hear yours is OK. Cheers Paul.
