She, on your next vid, can show how you change from MF to MS, it look like you did not change the mode MF to MS when you entered the water. Do you use MF on the dry, and MS in the wet sand, really like your vids.

That’s called a Sito Scoop. Whites electronics sells the same scoop with their logo laser cut into it. You have to purchase your own handle for it which is basically a wooden shovel handle that you can get at a local hardware or home improvement store. You can also purchase a carbon fibre handle which is lighter but much more expensive. You may have to modify the handle a little to get it to fit into the scoop because there is some obstruction in the handle receptacle because of the welding process. I wouldn’t recommend buying the larger size scoop for a lady. The little plastic side handle is called a Raptor handle and I highly recommend getting one of those at any detector dealer. The last one I bought was about $15.00. There’s also a scoop called a T-Rex which is very similar to the Sito. I hope this is helpful.

The consensus is no, not even a close call, and I know an awful lot of people wanted it to be very badly, just to see an American manufacturer at the top of the leaderboard. Garrett has always been “popular” and you see them in a lot of hands, but there are reasons for that other than performance. Quietly, an awful lot of users had been hoping Garrett would begin competing with Minelab and XP at the upper end of the performance scale with selectable frequency and simultaneous multifrequency technology. There’s still hope that a software update will bring this unit to life, but as of right now, the depth is not up to par and performance in iron is not up to par, even with the Simplex. It’s coming in as little more than an “also ran.”
