DARN! I spent lot of time trying to fix it, and nthing seens to work, untill someone posted it on MS Community>]: "Guess you have uprgaded from a previous version of Windows. Also guess you had a version of Adovb Reader on youur pc before the update. Simple solution is to go to Conotrol Panel, access Programs, and uninstall the prior version of Acrobat Reader. Reboot your PC, the error messages will still appear but ignore them, just click as many times as necessary to pass them. Now open a web browser, Firefox, Edge, Internet Explorer, or whatever, then type in Adobe Reader in search box. When found click in site and Adobe wll recognise and display your pc windows version / operating system and display a DOWNLOAD Button to get the correct version of Reader. Click the download button and load the correct version of Reader. I suggest that after downloading, you reboot your pc, and am certain from then on you will not get the error messages occuring. Also that those programs that would not work / open will now do so. Simple solution to a difficult situation the Microsoft failed to recognize!" No, I didn't have Adobe isntalled. But I did go to their site and downaloded and isntalled adobe, restarted computer with the smallest hope that it would work and BANG!!!! I can now play Elder Scroll Online again!!!
+Flavio Guimarães sooo this guy is right.... it was as simple as downloading latest adobe reader (acrobat) and i looked back in my windows>wowsys64 and sure enough there all the msvcp files were. piece of cake, thanks mate
+Flavio Guimarães WOW i tried some things like installing vcredist and copy this dll from the video but it didn't work, but your solution was perfect, thanks.
Unfortunately I'm still having the same issue. For me it's with Adobe Acrobat XI, and this is just following the most recent Windows 10 update. If anyone else has some insight I'd love to hear it.
+Phillip Capobianco Try that, worked for me: "Guess you have uprgaded from a previous version of Windows. Also guess you had a version of Adovb Reader on youur pc before the update. +Flavio Guimarães I agree that would provide the most simple and straightforward solution - however the program in question was not Reader, but Acrobat. In any case, I have had to abandon hope of fixing the issue as my system failed 2 days later. This could have been due to hardware or software issues, I'm not certain. But I will not be able to follow up any line of troubleshooting for this issue any longer.
Thank you sir! I had the same situation as yours - no Acrobat Reader - installed it and the error has not shown up so far. I do not know how, but it works.
+- HAWK - yep, just installed it, this msv100 shit is petty stuff but still, it's always something with new operating systems, this one has a lot of spy shit embedded in it, a lot more than I expected. So wonder they want everyone using windows 10 and shoving the notification to upgrade to it on everyones taskbar in previous versions.
How is this helpfull to anyone who isn't a complete computer geek!!? First of all it's impossible to see what you are doing and second, that music is SO annoying..
+Simone Ehlers You don't have to be a computer geek to follow instructions. Music can be muted. Go to full screen and HD if you're having trouble seeing it. He just downloads something from Microsoft's website and installs it. Pretty simple stuff.
