What a blessing to have your mama do your hair. My mother didn't do mine much when I was little, and when I got older I hadn't a clue how to do my own. What a disaster I was! lol!

I just keep my hair braided all Spring and Summer cause my scalp sweats too much. The humidity+heat+rain is bad here, too. 🥴

She used to get keratin treatments twice a year at Dominican salons. It helped her hair to not revert + heat training.

Growing up, my mom was a pro at styling my sister's and my hair. She had a knack for hair and makeup. Now, as a Cosmetologist myself, I enjoy tuning in to your channel. The hair looks amazing!
My mom was a licensed beautician… she taught me how to do my hair when I was 9… by 13 I could relax and wrap my hair, by high school I could dye and trim it into a style. I’m thankful for that because I joined the Navy and didn’t always have access to get my hair done, but I knew how to do it…so unlike other women I was good. Even with short hair. Later in 2004 I cut my hair for ease and my hair was thinning due to a medical condition. So RIP Mommy. Thanks for teaching me how to do my own hair.

I have natural curly hair and my mommy does my hair. I like it straight but my mom loves the wavy bob look on me. Shes does my hair so well people thiink I went to a salon.

Really enjoyed this one for many reasons. First you always do an amazing job. You're daughter represents all of us who enjoys being natural but many things come with that decision and where you live plays apart of how you deal with it throughout the year. I hadn't had my hair straightened in years and my cousin who's a stylist just did it. She dealt with me not really wanting so much heat on my hair well. Stylist still want us to leave with a good style. But your daughter is so beautiful with her natural curls and this final style. This would be a great alternative for me but I would have to see if my cousin would do this type of style. 💕
