    You do this in tinkercad directly. Just import the svg under import.

      Your correct but what if you don’t have an SVG? Also if you back in the play list have also done several videos on this also 🤓

      You can do this in Inkscape also (I have several videos on this) however the quality isn't as good...

      Yes as a lithophane, however I don't believe as an extruded object...

    That is a really good point. Company logo. I will try that as soon as I design a company logo.

      me too, some kind of buzzing that fades out

      Yeah, it's not local (client problem), it's in the video. If DIY3DTECH.com says his uploaded video is fine, something must have happened at TH-cam's side. We'll never know (or care) :-)

    You can easily do this without spending anything. Just use inscape trace bitmap and save as svg then import into tinkercad, or fusion360, etc. Give it a try works great and super easy.

    • @DIY3DTECHcom
      @DIY3DTECHcom  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks but if you check my Inkscape play you will see I show how do what mention several ways how two points. Many don’t want learn Inkscape (yes I know it’s easy) but there choice. Second and more important is this does a better job on detailed items then Inkscape and the main that I use for my more complex designs. As I once had it trace a very detailed schematic an did it perfectly! So it is more so based upon task work flow 🤓

      @Gamingoodz 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      DIY3DTECH.com fair enough I guess I haven't ran into any issues where inkscape didn't work well enough for me but then again I haven't done any really detailed stuff yet either

    Comparing just the free option of this program with 3D Builder and directly on TinkerCad I think this Selva3D gives the lowest quality. 3D Builder was slightly better than TinkerCad and gives more options. Could you campare the high quality file of Selva with 3D builder? Thanks!

      Sound like it would be a worthy video! Thanks for suggesting 🤓

    Would this have the ability to take a 2D JPEG ( I believe I cleaned one up in photoshop 13 too ) or Eagle Head rendering to a 3D sculpture type of print?

    • @DIY3DTECHcom
      @DIY3DTECHcom  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sort of as you can only render a 2d object as a 2.5 D object meaning you can only simply extrude to uniform depth (as shown in the video)....

    I am pretty sure this is the second time I Have noticed some of your audio sounds like you are recording in a metal tube. (namely the first part of this video)

      My office 16 wide and 40 feet long so not the best acoustics 🤓

      DIY3DTECH.com strange thing is it is only the first part of the video. The last half is thankfully lacking the distortion.
      I hope my comment is coming across as a positive. I enjoy your efforts to share information.

    • @DIY3DTECHcom
      @DIY3DTECHcom  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes it is (i.e. coming across as a positive), as the computer part is done in my offer and the end part in the shop :-)

    Audio is terrible in this video... But, you could use fusion 360 directly...

    • @DIY3DTECHcom

      Not every one is comfortable with Fusion 360...

    Joe, so now you're printing hands, esoteric hands (with the eye). I would suggest you start the cult of the celestial hands. I am already a follower of the cult (yes I am subscribed to the channel)

    Sorry I'm unsubscribing because of TH-cam demonetizing Dave Rubin interview with Thomas Sowell. Free speech is more important than my entertainment.
