Congratulations to everyone on the team of this build. From track prep guys to track owners, from festival organizers, and ride and drives, from merchandise teams, to parking and track assistance. Sponsors, vendors, and participants. Hot dog shacks to ice cream parlors. A great many thanks to you all.
What would be cool is if you could develop a "worst case" catch can that was collapsed to begin with...like an accordion...but in dire need it could expand to hold a few gallons :-). This might ruin it in the process, I guess we could take that for granted.
Speaking on the coolant over flow being in the back why didn't you do a burn down box in the trunk for the valve cover breathers? If you burn a hole in a piston wouldnt you will fill those little breathers faster than you can get the car shut down?
If the transmission overflows into the catch can and the catch can overflows down the tube going outside underneath the hood, isn't that just going to create a slipperier situation than having a water catch can overflow under the hood?
You're getting close. What an absolute beautiful beast, I can't wait for the first start up, and hopefully getting to see you guys in Gainesville during Sick Week. Keep up that high quality build, and thanks for explaining the details that go into a world class drag and drive car
Need to Cosmichrome the bumpers or vinyl wrap them chrome and leave the front lip exposed carbon. With no other carbon on the car it kinda clashes with the color, especially with all the factory chrome trim the car retains. I agree with Mr. Sam, the level of craftsmanship is second to none!
Sam is a legend! I’m fully convinced the man is immortal, but if he does pass someday, their gonna have to rent the Buccaneers stadium to fit all of us to pay respects.
Have you guys thought about having a chat to Haltech and making billet mounts for the Can button pad to fit either on the shifter or roll cage, same as some quality mounts for the ECU and IC-7? Knowing how they feel about quality I am more than sure they would be happy to help retail your parts next to their own any day of the week!! Same goes with Rife Sensors they should be sold with every Haltech used in a race environment. As you said even the best ECU will fail if it is being fed junk inputs
If Mr. Sam approves of your work, that is a genuine compliment.
Im a simple man. I see Mr. Sam and I click 'like'
Love Sam, he’s such a humble person!
I had to come back through and drop in to see if there's a new video posted I missed, can't wait for your next video.
Beautiful car makes me miss my 69 ss. It wasn't near as nice as yours but was lots of fun on the street. Good luck.

The ultimate comeback

Mr. Sam knows top quality - approved! 👍
Jackstand bringing Sam to the TH-cam's is one of the best things that ever happened to the interwebs... and the Nova is badass too Doug... LOL!!!
Floors are usually dirty in a shop, so I recommend using a Mexican creeper (a piece of flat cardboard)
"Mexican creeper" 😂😂😂😂😂
Cool video! Sam is the man!
Love the car. Looks great.
Have you considered tapping into you crank case evac. and adding the venting of the transmission?
Great seeing it come along

If Sam says it looks nice, it must be immaculate. Worth the wait, Doug.
Best luck shaking her down at the track!

Catch can is a little expensive for average bracket guy.
Hey Doug I was just wondering are you hiring?
My over flow is like a gallon.
Who in Kentucky is tuning the Nova?
Holy shit....
Come to find out, Doug is a *Real Deal* #SCIENTIST ...
Sam will be waxing the bottom of it.😂
Less talky, more worky
SAAAM!
Look at the lens, not at yourself in the screen.
