- In this epic 3v3 Subcommanders match on Total War Warhammer 2, Helman Ghorst leads the Vampire Counts and a Beastmen Minobus against the Skaven, Norscans, and Empire in a battle that goes right down to the end with impressive performances all around! Feel the Wrath of Ghorst!

Given what we know of Cathay and their Harmony mechanic, they’re going to need those non-type specific units more so than most.

I must say, despite how hard it is to organize, subcommanders is my favorite type of battle. They are just so interesting and allow for so much synergy between the players on each side.
I kinda wish it would be an official game mode. Same with Trials of Tzeentch.
Ghorst deserve's his own start position after this display.

@@milkandcookiesTW or at last to get reworked so he buffs Zombies insane. More speed for them and himself and the Hunger or Kemmlers follower to make them more tanky
I always love when you see Ghorst put in that hard work and walk away as a champion. He gets memed on so hard and the irony is he was my first campaign completed...

It's actually sort of cursed to see Ghorst actually being used

ghorst should have been the number 1 target, he is large, fairly fragile and slow, cant let him survive and get value the entirety of the game
i think a lot of people just straight up dont know that he has the mortis engine effect on his corpse cart haha
And he is actually a good wizard, especially with his grave guard summon.
He also has a unique wind of death though I'm not sure in what way in vanilla I'd have to look again
@@theduketw he doesn't have a unique wind of death its just that in campaign he gets a huge discount on it and has a supped up arcane conduit that hurts him but with his insane regen its basically just a really good arcane conduit
@@masonsudul1643 it could well act as a way to make it cheaper but the ability itself is unique
With battles and edits like which I am already climaxing over, I can't wait to see TWH3 Battles!! Indy brings us lucky lot some of the best TW content that will ever be created.

I loved the battle but, What are these cursed alliances though? The empire, skaven, and norsca vs High elves, Vampires, and beastmen. I don't know how, but I assume tzeench is behind this.

Feels like there needs to be a command for units that can move and shoot to lock onto a target so giving them a move order when fire at will is off doesn’t stop them from using ammunition properly, or cause them to change targets if fire at will is on - those Reaver Archers used almost no ammo which I can’t imagine was intentional

Slaanesh is the Chaos God of desire, perfection, pleasure, and excess. Khaine is the Elven God of War and Murder, very different philosophies and appearance

Hey Indy, quick question, in these kinds of battles where there's actual teams, do spells from one player interact with another's units? So like, can an Empire Jade Wizard heal Norscan Berserkers? Can Vlad the Dad heal up Zombie Dick Hand Mob?

People forget that just because Ghorst is very vulnerable doesn't stop him being extremely valuable right until he dies. In a massive and absurd game like Subcommanders he's much better, since he generates absurd value from the buffs and Mortis, and because there's so many flashy 'real threats' people forget he usually has to die first or second.

Honestly I feel that volkmar is up there in terms of best lords. His AoE buffs are amazing, then you add in his tiny AoE rain that doesn't affect allies is clutch at times. Of course, i need to disclose that I only know about him via SFO.
I do not get why there wasn't more focus on ghorst. He is one of those guys who are really only dangerous if you let him stay in the fight, at least in my opinion.
Great match, awesome format. Only complaint is too much heresy lol and Sigmar would agree with me. Ok, I take it back, no complaining. Sigmar can do that alone.

Skaven maybe could have saved it by focusing the gorghon, but it was a really close match anyways.
