I've been working REALLY hard like 3 hours a day, on his arrangement of this, for 7 days, can do up until about 4:50 (pretty much right before the solo) but not completely smooth all the way through. Since then it's been 3 days I haven't played it because I am working on another song I have to learn for this week, but I'm gonna go practice it right now! can't wait to learn it all. When my father realised i loved music he sent me on organ lessons. Now the diference of playing by notes and playing by ear is, you can allways put your tiny or big heart in the music you are playing and improvise of a very sweet way :). No sheets no notes written, every performance is unique and diferent one from another.

perfect pitch is where your ear is so good that you can discern a tone or key in a song perfectly, and when you sit down and try to play it you know the notes automatically. perfect pitch=having a really good ear

I live of music since a kid. Playing from hear isnt a gift, most of what i play is by ear too. If we can call that a practice well, my practice was living in a house were there was allways music playing everyday since i was a kid till now.
2 things. First im trying to play this song by ear like you, but i can't quite get the left hand in the verses and chorus right. What are the notes when you play the left hand?
@lorddoehner i dont think it is accalerated. but there are possibilites to pitch the sound down while it is fast-forwarded, very easy to get these tools....

Honestly, I think your wasting your time with college persuits. Well, unless it's to get some in-out experience. But really, don't fool arround and lose your ambition. People generally only get one specific tallent in a lifetime and I'd say you swim better than a duck in water when your on the piano. I would invest in your piano career specifically. The chords are G - D - e (Minor) - F - C - D. What I do is play a G octave (Left hand holds 2 Gs and right hand plays BDG.) Then a D (Left hand holds 2 F sharps and right hand plays ADFsharp.) Now the next chord is easy, it's just an E in the left hand and a full e minor chord in the right hand an octave higher. (This is played for twice as long as the previous chords) Now an F, which is two Fs in the left hand and ACF in the right. Now two Cs with the left hand, and GCE in the right (cont)
Then back to the D. You can figure out the rest from here, it's easy. OH- When they hit the last bit of the main chorus (Lord Knows I can't chayayayayayayayaynge) you play two b flats in your left hand, and BflatDF in the right. PLay around with it and you'll get it, I may put up a tutorial if enough people like this.
