I know i need to start some flowers to help attract bee's, my attempt with growing lavender was a flop. I could not even get the seeds to germinate. I will keep trying though. Congrat's on reaching 4k subs !
Thank you! Lavender is very tricky to grow in Texas soil unless it's in a flower pot. Yes, flowers attract a ton of pollinators. Vegetables and flowers go hand in hand together.
@IzzysSaltLife Zinnias and Cosmos are super easy, and you can plant seeds now. Marigolds are easy and can be planted now. Salvia, like Mystic Spires, Mealy Blue Sage, Salvia Greggi, Echinacea, Blackfoot Daisy. Look into native flowers for your area. Native flowers are low maintenance, tolerate Texas heat and drought. Hope it gives you some ideas.
