    Hi Elle Living. I am the wife of ResslerMania. He told me to check out your channel. Glad I did. Great video and information. Wonderful that you were able to interview the co-owner and get a personal tour from her. Well done. Keep up the great work.

    Great video! Very interesting and informative. Loved the talk with the co owner. Wireless mic would have helped the audio. Found out that I am the same age as the village but it has held up better. Thank you again for all the work you do.

    • @ElleLiving
      @ElleLiving  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah…haven’t delved into the world of mics yet ☺️ Didn’t want to bother her w a mic 🎤 😉. It was hard to tell what the phone was picking up while I was doing it. You know I appreciate your constructive suggestions 😉👍☺️ so thank you!! I will have to be closer to the person talking next time. But glad u liked it. U r funny! Now everyone knows your age 😉. Kinda cool u r same age as KKV:)

    Great video! We love it there too! Mandatory spot to go whenever we visit the area. It's also fun to watch when they are making one of the jams or jellies in the kitchen.
    My father and stepmother have their names on one of the bricks along the walkway.

    • @ElleLiving
      @ElleLiving  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      What??!! How cool that they have their names on one of the bricks!! How did that come about. I would love to have a brick in Lancaster someday 😍😍 a girl can dream 💭 Thanks for sharing that! So very special 😉 and YES it is fun to watch them make their jams and jellies. They were doing a little the one day but didn’t catch it on video ! Would need to blur faces but it would be cool to have footage of that ☺️

    Kitchen Kettle is one of my favorite spots of anyplace I’ve been. It’s just so lovely and everyone is so nice there. It was awesome to hear Joanne’s memories of the place and get direct information from her. Of course Jam & Relish, and Aged & Cured are our favorite shops. I’ve been wondering if they have started having samples out like they did pre-covid or if they are just doing the tasting tours now? Thank you so much for filming and posting this I so appreciate being able to see this wonderful place even if it is virtually.

      Hi Rose!! Thank you - I was so thankful to have Joanne with us! I agree, how neat to hear her stories ❤️ I was there 2 days, one for the tasting tour and another “regular” day. I didn’t go in all of the shops on the regular day but the Jam & Relish kitchen did have a sampling station. Unlike before where they were everywhere and you could help yourself (and have a small feast by the time you are done), there was a staff member working behind this little booth type thing. You tell her what you want to sample and she gives you a sample. So they kinda brought it back 😍☺️ not sure if there is a limit to how many you can try but I would love to know! Have a great day!

      @@ElleLiving So many things have changed. At least they are adapting to this new world we’re all trying to navigate. I think it’s amazing that you live so near that you go so often and then share with us, I know I appreciate it very much, as I’m sure many others do too.

      @@Ultimatecruegirl well thank you - I love sharing it with others 🥰👍. However I don’t live close at all 🤪 - I am west of the Mississippi! But my situation is unique bc I head home to PA to see my parents and family in York, which then gives me the opportunity to see Lancaster. I try to go 3-4 times a year ❤️☺️ AND I try to get a lot of video footage while I’m there so I can make lots of videos when I’m back home ☺️

    Pretty Turkish Made non-amish bowls and plates. Lots of imported kitch and tourist nic nacs mixed with Pennsylvania Dutch things.

    ❓️ Is it " Lannnkasster " or " Lankuster "🤗

    • @ElleLiving
      @ElleLiving  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends where you grew up! 😄😂😆 Locals say it more like the latter of your spellings. I grew up in the neighboring county of York and my family has been visiting Lancaster for generations. So the way I say it on the videos is the way most locals say it (2nd spelling). In fact we know who isn’t local by the way the say it 😂😂 which is usually the first spelling. Those are actually some pretty impressive grammatical spellings of the word 🤓😊👍

    • @ElleLiving
      @ElleLiving  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      My husband had a good idea of how to spell out the local way to say it …
      LANG-kister but no pause at the dash 🤓🤩
