Wow, this is great. As a model maker looking for plans, details and photographs of ships, I don't think I need to go past this video. I know full well that many models contain errors, but this one is so good I don't really care if there are some incorrect details. I am interested though in the different styles of 4.1 inch turret. The aft ones seem to have an extra cradle over the rear end that the forward ones don't have. this seems to be accurate judging from the photographs of the real ship, just wondering what they are.
There are at least 10 very detailled 1/100 Bismarcks, all beauties and finest art possible. This model certainly belong in that hall of fame with Markus van Beek, Volker Engler and the stunning 1/72 Bismarck model from the Milano modelclub. here are NO 10 models 1/100 of any other battleship buitl insofar. Bismarck was clearly the most admired and finest battleship in history according to the millions of Bismarck models built after WW2. Peter Rieneck is even building a 1/50
