There was a time when music was just a background noise for me, but since watching TH-cam reactions with headphones on, music has taken on a whole new meaning. So yeah, I get what you're saying. Be'lakor is definitely a top 3 band for me. ❤ I do hope you'll eventually be reacting to another Be'lakor album. Perhaps more of Stone's Reach.
Love that you find my second favourite band and appreciate the complexities in the their music - art. Have you listened to Plague Flowers The kaleidoscope, live in Denver by the band Ne Obliviscaris ? Ironically they played their first gig with Be Lakor, also from Melbourne Australia. Ne obliviscaris are insanely talented lads
Really enjoyed your review of Coherence. I've been a fan of Be'lakor for a few years now and will finally get to see them in a couple of weeks. If you get a chance Ne Obliviscaris - Devour Me Colossus or Pyric
Be’lakor never misses, one of the best melodeath bands ever. For fans of be’lakor I highly recommend the album “in continuum” by Destinity, shit is awesome and definitely hits a similar spot as bands like be’lakor and insomnium. Anyway good stuff Todd
@@Choanzel no problem, If you want another amazing album that is definitely influenced by stuff like insomnium and be’lakor I highly recommend “the frozen trail” by hollow decay, also from Australia like be’lakor. New band work only 1 project but it’s a phenomenal melodeath debut Imo, songs like for what purpose/pitch black/Polaris/lucid/regain are all just stellar imo, was the best melodeath record of 2022 for me. The crazy thing is I’m pretty sure it’s actually all just one dude who plays all the instruments and vocals, guy is obviously crazy talented. Anyway I highly recommend checking it out, it’s an awesome record and big fans of melodeath heavy hitters like insomnium/be’lakor should really enjoy it a lot. If you give it a listen let me know how you enjoy it, for me it’s a melodeath record with no weak songs on it. Band is still pretty much unknown so I always try to do them a solid and recommend them to other melodeath fans especially ones who like insomnium. Also highly recommend checking out Lahmia, their 2 albums are great and the last one was really good and fairly similar sound to bands like insomnium
I want to distill that outro riff down and inject it into my veins.
That outro is really unbelievable, can't get enough of it. Be'lakor have come to specialize in album outros I guess
among the most epic songs: "Much more was lost". Very nice choice for a reaction!

What a soft and gentle sound of instrumental part, it is heavy and calm at the same time thanks to great mastering
Nice, i was looking forward to this. The album is a masterpiece, it gets better with every listen
I have no words for this band. Every song is heartbreakingly beautiful!
belagod best band i've ever heard

Ikr. 😁
The Magic Soul of Be'lakor, thank you so...
I hear this as something between Gojira and Opeth, I like it

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I will take you up on the recommendation. I've been loving what Ne Obliviscaris I've listened to so far.
Why didn't you delve in decyphering the lyrics? it is SO packed, so original it is a waste not to taste the way it depicts feelings.
probably still coming to terms with the immensity of it all.
Im still trying to grasp exactly how fucking amazing they are, after years.
Be'lakor's lyrics are sublime
