C. 40 years later ... and it's all being repeated.
Although now we find that McCarthy has largely been vindicated. Oops. Quite a bit of egg on our faces now.
@@paullambert8701 Russia-gate was and remains utter bollocks. The ex-pat Russians living in London, and other Western capital cities have much in common with regional Establishment/Conservatives - they all made their vast fortunes ripping off their respective states.
Events in Ukraine, the drivers behind war, are thrown into stark relief if we look beyond Western mainstream corporate media staples -- i.e. DC / U.S. corporations intent on weakening Russia, and asset stripping Ukraine, as per many other countries and histories ('Shock Doctrine' by Naomi Klein presents a useful potted history on this in prior histories/regions)
p.s. If it hasn't been taken down, there's a video of McCain addressing the Fascists in Ukraine in 2014, on this platform. U.S. machination has been going on for a very long time.

I hated this then and by the looks of things still do now.
The two solutions of x^2 + bx + c = 0 are x = (-b ± √(b^2 - 4c))/2 as the pupils would know. It is a simple matter to substitute b=-5, c=2 and get Martin's correct solution of x = (5 ± √17)/2 in a few seconds. The maths teacher is grossly incompetent and should be fired immediately.
Or the screenwriters did not take advanced mathematics.
