England star Jude Bellingham is facing a UEFA investigation after appearing to have made a crotch-grabbing gesture towards the Slovakian bench, following England’s extra-time victory.
Reem says: “There seems to be an inconsistency with what we view as publicly decent, if a successful straight man does something like this it is seen as entirely inappropriate.”
In tennis, pro-Palestinian protesters demonstrated at Wimbledon against tournament sponsor Barclays, claiming that the organisation ‘sponsors Wimbledon and genocide’.
Reem: “Everybody is aware of what is going on in Israel and Gaza, and you waving around your flag is not going to help.”

The UK is not going in a totally different direction to the rest of Europe. The only reason Labour will win in the UK is by default because we have a first past the post system. People are turning against the Tories because they have failed to implement Brexit, and because they have failed us on immigration, not because people are going more towards the Left. Nah most people have turned against Tories because they’re awful human beings who repeatedly lie and caused a lot of harm to this countries public services. Many are voting Labour because they hope those services can come back. There’s not that many people who actually allow racism to decide how they vote, although yes it’s a growing number. Maybe it was innapropiate but it wasn’t even to the Slovakian Bench like the media is suggesting. Jude made it clear in a tweet that it was an inside joke to his friends and has nothing but respect for the Slovakian team. Media will grasp at anything and try to twist it.

Its not OK people going around naked, unless there is a strong political reason for it. ie the subjegation of women and children, the sex slave trade etc. Attention attaining behaviour will always be justified in protests against such evil whatever it is. Even though I'm an egalitarian, I see no justification for LGBTQ people to ever be naked at a celebration. Any more than any other group of people.
