Or was that the man was crying about something or was it like the teaser of level 3 portal Dark disillusion And 2nd question is... at 21:5521:59 did he just reference to penny the chicken to saying that "i can see you" "i see you" like... was that supposed to be a joke or just reference to penny the chicken.
To answer your 1st question, I'm not really sure what the flashback sequence means. I can only guess it was something important related to the protagonist, perhaps a traumatic event in their past. For your 2nd question, I doubt it's a reference to Penny the chicken. It's just a generic thing for enemies to say when they spot you.

(i don't know if you remember me i'm that one person who occasionally makes way too long comments on your videos) yeaahh i don't know why it's always so long in between me finding your videos.. anyway! really cool video so far i just reached the boss scene so i haven't seen it yet and well the video's really great! i feel like your editing has improved (i don't remember your older videos having as many little snippets of comments to the side? ) also! really glad as always that you explain what you do- i would not know what is going on without it. also it just really amused me when you greeted the rat speaking of rats,,, this game so far? really cool. love the atmosphere and mechanics. the music is tense but also grandiose in a way that makes you feel like you're in a church (which works with the cult theme). and also how the father seems to be a bishop?? and it appears to be in some kind of catacomb?? i could be wrong though the lighting is nice- normally i have to turn my brightness up quite a bit for some horror games but this obstructs view a little without just... turning my screen black gonna watch the boss fight now brb i love how the followers got stuck on the rock. get pathlost, idiots. wasn't expecting you to go up the snake- wasn't expecting the snake to have collision at all, actually! really cool. "they're really persistent" well that's how you know they're really good at being cultists! love the game and the video. hopefully i don't end up chased by cultists the next time i walk past a church...
Hi! 👋 Glad you enjoyed the video! I'd definitely say I had more fun with editing this video than usual. I guess maybe I just found more opportunities to add extra stuff. The creators of the game describe the location as a temple more so than a church. I think the level was going to take place in a church or cathedral a long time ago though, but the idea was scrapped. I did enjoy playing through this level and the 2nd one. It's definitely one of my most favourite Dark Deception fan-games. 🙂
Remember to collect all the secrets, remember to get the Bonus Shard, try to beat the level quickly (but don't worry about playing it safe if things get too dangerous), and try not to die too many times.
