Also a good note to anyone watching this, if you burn out your cap recharger and didn't catch the NPC. Don't panic. If you didn't burn out your MWD, just manually offline it and you will be cap stable to do the log off trick. I've tested both burning the mod out outside of combat and putting the prop mod offline manually and both remove the cap penalty from the MWD. With Cap Operation 5 and Cap Management 4 this fit was cap stable for me running the rep. As long as turning off the MWD leaves you cap stable, you can safely log off like Hateless describes. I've been re-watching this video working on my Retribution fit for this burner, so its good info for trying to make your own fit as well!
Just interacting so more people can see this video. Already hit the point where I can do all the burners (except of course supercarrier, but I don't intend to) semi-reliably. Now I just have to figure out how to reliably convert SP :P
Wow I did my first two successful burner missions today and managed to nail it on the first time in both cases. I lost a ton of ships trying to figure this thing out and never paid attention to just how fast this Worm is going.
Awesome guide as always, and yet more skills to train. Having seen your video about making your own fits and now this one I'm trying to tweak my Nergal's Worm fit to hopefully be a lot safer than the original fit I was shown. Based on the stats you said the Worm has, I have no idea how my fit it was even able to complete this mission. The MWD just barely beats the worm's speed running hot, the web drones are showing a max velocity of 3km/s so they shouldn't catch it either. It also has to run on batteries, so I can't just log out and then come back safe to repair should something go wrong. My only guess is I just managed to raw brute force the 20km to catch it with my two heat cycles to grab it with the scram. Needless to say, I'm not running burner worm again until I can either get this fit, or figure out how to modify my all in 1 fit to make it run this safer. Super glad we have people like you in this game willing to share your knowledge with the rest of us.
Did it with a Nergal - cap stable w/reps - tricky mission, not much room for mistakes, log-off trick works great, needed a +3% hardshell implant w/Nergal to tank it w/o heat - worked well overall

Something wrong happened to this burner. I have this ship, with your fit and I can tank it indefinitely. But instead of hitting it similar hits as you do, I do less than half the damage, which the Worm tanks without any issues. No idea, what's going on. Decent skills, tooltip on my guns says the same as yours. Any ideas?
Un group your guns reload them and group them back up sometimes the stack bugs out. Other things mwd could be on you could be orbiting rather then keeping at range and your keep at range might be wrong you want 2km

I just tried this with a tech 2 armor rep (but still with other bling). Should cost about 100mil, but I paid 130 since I bought it out of Jita. Had no problem taking the Worm down.
Doesn't work or something is glitched (I did him twice or three times a few years ago with no issues). He just ignores Scrambler (I even put a Caldari Navy one on) and pushes 40km before I can even scratch him, in a blink of an eye. I already had the Daredevil mission glitch on me, the guns refusing to fire... Anyone else having these issues?
Love most of your stuff, aside from the Mechariel, a ship I hate with a passion ;) CCP needs to sort out their mess, the game is starting to have too many glitches and bugs. I lost the Daredevil because it refused to fire, the guns decided just to blink, Cosmos is broken, all loot is shit. Do they just want everyone to mine space? Cheers. Oh, just a word of warning, if your guns glitch in the fitting window (refusing to load ammo and stuff like that), log out and log back in... That's what happened to my Daredevil, first glitching in the fitting window, then glitching in the mission.
I tried to get him yesterday in a hawk and didnt know how fast he was. I was locked in perma approach trying to get to him and had to call a friend in to get me unscrammed and then he died. lol
Tried this fit but the shield version in the Harpy - cooked my MWD twice and died before deciding I needed to change things up and need some help to do so. Glad I found this vid, checked your fit out on sisi and it worked like a charm (though (all V's) I'm about 20dps lower for some reason, patch or implants? - not sure - 388.8 vs your 408.0 - Worm still went down easy though). Thanks muchly o7

Are any of these possible with caldari ships? I only see things like daredevil and enyo. I don't have the skills for others.
