I would prefer the wood tones a little more matched, but do like that each set of these are different in look. The Midnight Yume is the only iem I've ever owed and want to get these or Dusk.
It's a bit of a tossup with this kind of look, I've seen some hardly having any browns in there and it's mostly ashy (still looks good though on some faceplates)
Is anyone else having a hard time fitting these in their ear canal? The port itself is HUGE and i've tried all of the tips... it hurts to try to press it in and I just feel metal and the thing is not sitting flush in my ear at all.
Personally i like the Davinci stock cable better, a bit stiffer but also feels a lot more sturdy and it would've fit the heavier builds like the Falcon Ultra if the Ultra uses the same pins (MMCX vs 2 pin)
@@rnarexperience I just tried the small dunu S&S, cause I thought my earhole are pretty small...no sub bass. Mediums and there it is. Thanks, man. I'm feeling that bass now.
Update. Tips do matter. I normally use spinfits or xelastec. I just tried the Dunu gray ones than came in the set and MY GOODNESS! The bass is intense. I can feel this more than the 7hz Legato. The spinfits created more treble than I was comfortable with. Now it’s tamer in the treble without losing detail while delivering a fantastic slam on the bass.
I totally agree, you can literally feel the weight and the slam, especially in some tracks especially movie soundtracks, i find them somewhat more "impactful?" (i use Hans Zimmer tracks, Honour from The Pacific as reference to test out for example). For the price it's hard to compete with, comes down to subjective really.
@@MykeogunsThis is more of my subjective experience, I find the imaging and macro-details quite good, while not the most technical set. As for the soundstage, i don't perceive it as particularly "intimate", in fact to me it actually sounds slightly wide. I like this set, but for some it might be too bassy for their liking.
one weird question , no one really talks about the longevity lifespan of these chi-fis , this 300$ chifis even last 2 years , i never saw anyone doing a long term videos of these chifis ,
I will follow this up... in 2 years 😉 I think in this hobby people rotate IEMs so often that some IEMs dont even last 2 years in someone's collection but some people may have had that longevity in sticking with a particular set of chifi for years
Good review mate , just avoid your accent / pronunciation speaking too tight too strong like Thomas Audio ,Speak in a smooth way will be easier to listen to , my feeling of your speech is like a very harsh sounding IEM , sorry for being picky , hope your channel grow big in a fast way cheers. The DaVinci seems not as good as the New Dusk , not in Studio 4 level only better in the Bass l guess Thank You again cheers.
The equalized Doscinco sounds amazing. I use Paul Wasabi's equalization from the MMagTech page on Squiglink. I limit the frequency from 80 to 7400 and the result is a 6-band EQ that ranges from 88 to 5200Hz and the Doscinco is perfect. This considering that I tried all possible equalizations to finally settle on this one. I don't know if the Davinci can reach this level but I don't think I need it either.
Got mine today. Love them. Across all genres.
do you still like them?
Thanks for comparing to Falcon Ultra, was looking for this!
Thanks for watching!

With the CCA Hydro, the Pula, the Supermix4, the EM10, the Hype series, Aful Explorer... idk what to pick
I know 😭😭😭
Too many IEMs... but imagine at budget level, it's like picking your favourite grain of sand from a desert
Tom, my profile from MySpace got deleted from early 00s when JT owned MySpace after you left. Why?
EM10 seems superior out of the bunch for sure , but the best way is buy them all , they are all amazing IEMs Cheers.
Pick Hype 4 or Davinci
hi amazing review!
would love to see a review on the hisenior mega5est next
Thank you! If i have the opportunity I'd take that into consideration
Good review mate
Thanks man!
have you heard the ziigaat doscinco?

I got it the other day....solid, but could use moar bass
More? Interesting I thought the bass was plenty, was this with the DUNU S&S eartips?
@@rnarexperience nope...but since your glowing recommendation, I think I'll give those a go.

I feel it it has more treble and for a 2 DD iem it’s lacking for bass tracks I tested in on.

Aside of the bass slam energy how is the imaging, soundstage and macro-detail on this set?

@@marumaru5480 I think I can like proceed to purchase it.
I love that Timmy used 3D printing technology to enable 5 way crossover in this price point.
Throwing qudelix 5k (2.5mm) enjoyers under the bus
Might need to swap cables to utilize that 2.5mm then
Its almost on the edge of basshead. The Dynaquatro looks more balanced.

First!
well i can only say ZiiGaat Doscinco is much better then DaVinci
I heard the Doscinco carries a lot more bass, i guess if you prefer a basshead IEM the Doscinco would be the preferred pick between the 2?
